This place is amazing! I was visiting Jacksonville on a business trip and was a bit disappointed with the choices of downtown restaurants until I went to The Candy Apple Café. I ordered a burger which is honestly one of the best I've ever eaten! The other people with me said their food was very good as well. Nice portion sizes and the wait staff was excellent. One of the neatest things about this place though, was that it also has a candy store, toy store, and ice cream shop in the same place! It appeared to be an old three (maybe 4) story house and had lots of candy to choose from as well as

It was our first time there and the food was just okay. We ordered our 3yr old food first and thought it would come out before our food, it did not. We all got our food at the same time. The food was not hot at all just warm. The service was good. We would go back hopeful next time our food will be nice and hot.

Went here on a whim and WOW - so impressed! The steak was delicious but the fries were probably the best I’ve ever eaten. The decor is so fun, and my husband and I were so surprised that there was a dessert bar upstairs that we just cracked up laughing when our waitress told us about it - we were so full we barely made it across the lobby to explore the candy shop. We grabbed some candies to go and can happily report that those were also amazing. We planned to bring them to an event and share with friends but I’m not sure they will make it there before we eat them all! Would definitely come

Make sure you go up stairs and see their candy store along with the first floor display. They do provide happy hour and they drinks are great. Definitely try their corn dogs, homemade chips and their old fashion. they actually put Four Rose bourbon. If you are full, just order dessert to go. Try their carrot cake it's worth the calories.

The atmosphere is very relaxed. Small cafe style. But the tables are perfectly spaced. Table for 4 was very space efficient. Our food arrived in a very reasonable amount of time. Which was a big plus, since we had plans to attend a show at a venue nearby. I enjoyed the Mayport Shrimp Crepe. The Golden Ticket drink was nice, and had a little kick!
