I was visiting from out of town and was expecting the worst when my engine light came on. They checked it out, assured me that I could get back to Atlanta safely, and charged me much less than expected. Thanks so much for a super experience. AND - I did make it back safely. Excellent customer service.
Cooks Auto Repair has been a staple of the Brunswick automotive scene since 2006. We've spent this time proudly serving the Brunswick area and have become a valued part of the community. Whether you need general upkeep and maintenance or a complete vehicle overhaul, Cooks Auto Repair has been there to provide excellent service and trustworthy advice.
To recommend the services, repairs and maintenance to the car owners that are necessary to maintain the vehicle in safe working order. To use only products which are safe and provide service that equals or exceeds that recommended by the vehicle's manufacturer. To service and repair the vehicles in a timely manner and to keep the customer informed of any and all changes including completion times.
Today's cars, light trucks, and sport-utility vehicles are high-tech marvels with digital dashboards, oxygen sensors, electronic computers, unibody construction, and more. They run better, longer, and more efficiently than models of years past. Resist the temptation to suggest a specific course of repair.
At Cooks Auto Repair we value the safety of our customers above all else. We want to ensure that you get to where you're going every time with a reliable and safe vehicle. A major problem area for the cars and trucks that come into Cooks Auto Repair, are tires. Your tires are your connection to the road, and without them doing their job properly, all the handling development and safety testing that went into your car may not keep you safe.

I took my vehicle to Coopers due to a fuel injector problem. Mr. Cooper called the next day to say one of his employees took it out for a drive while it was on a scanner and the engine blew up! When my wife spoke to Mr. Cooper about it he said in the shop attached to the scanner it only showed misfires so they drove it attached to the scanner to see what was wrong and the engine blew up. I drove it to Coopers! Mr. Cooper said he was not at all responsible. When asked he said he has no policy for dealing with such a matter. Do not take your car to Coopers because he will not take responsibility

I asked on fb and got many very good reports from locals. We got a new fuel pump & an oil change. Good work. Nice staff. Fair price. (We were referred by our former mechanic, too, because he doesn’t have enough help to take new work.) We’re going to use Cook’s for all repairs from now on. Family business. Years of experience. We trust these folks.

We had motor mounts put in and they were kind, timely and efficient. The next day our car died on our way somewhere, it was our alternator. Because Cooks had just done the work the previous day they took full responsibility and did not charge us and replaced the alternator. Now that is customer Service. They did a great job and I will continue to us them as our mechanic.
