Awful vet. They euthanized my pet cockroach with a magazine against my wishes

I've been to this clinic a few times with my 3 cats - just called to schedule an appointment - what a rude person on the phone gosh!!!
But previous visits were in reasonable prices and doctors were great.

Despite the rude receptionist, the Dr seemed good during the visit, however the following day she called and left a voicemail with the blood work results and said to call her back with any questions. Since I did have questions I called back, she was busy and I was told by the receptionist that she’ll call me back. It’s been a week now and still no call back. I called today because I need them to transfer the blood work results to another vet and same receptionist answered. She’s saying how the doctor is in surgery and they cannot release the records without having me speak to the doctor first

I had a pleasant experience the first time I took one of My babies there a few years back. The Dr. Was professional and cared for my little girl. So I decided to take my other munchkin in today 11/2/21. We true going on the door was closed. So some young lady came out and looked at us up and down with a disgusted look on her face. Totally unprofessional and not helpful at all. All she said was "we're close" did not say. You can come tomorrow from 9am-4pm. I will try one more time on Monday. And see how everything goes.

I called to retrieve the records for my puppy (who had visited once for his first round of shots and we never went back) three times. Twice I was placed on hold for over ten minutes and could hear everything going on, including the lady who answered the phone being extremely rude and unprofessional with a heavy attitude. At one point she even told the dog crying in the back to “shut up.” Once I was hung up on, and another time I was told to call back 30 minutes later because they didn’t have the time to help at the moment. I understand short staffing, but there was no level of professionalism

This place is horrible, the doctor treats his customers like crap and his employees too!! If he treats people like this you can image how he treats your pet. Please go somewhere else!

The wait was very long, but they were very friendly and professional. They took care of our dog same day while other places were booked for weeks. It's appointment only, so get there early for less wait. The team looks like they are working non-stop too, so be friendly. It's also nice to see a neighborhood vet instead of corporate owned places that are taking over. Thank you for your help!

They don't fully sleep the pets when they are getting nueter or spay , this is not a good place to bring your pets please they will kill your pets

Don't stand outside too long it's a cuteness over load! Perfect place to get all your furry friends medical needs.

If you love your dog, don't bring them here. Wish I could give 0 stars. They're cheap for a reason. The moment you walk in, you'll want to run back outside. Trust me.

We received kind and compassionate care twice this week for our eleven year old dog. Our dog had recently been diagnosed with diabetes, and had been doing very well with blood glucose monitoring and insulin injections. This past week, our dog began to show signs of other complications. We took him to Delta, as they could see him same day. (This was a first visit for our dog to Delta.) He was treated very well by Dr. Lesley Luka and her staff. We brought him back two days later and Dr. Luke was just as kind. Sadly, we will not have a positive outcome, but they were lovely. We had a very hard time with our dog of 13.5 years getting sick. We did not know what to do, she suddenly stopped eating and drinking water and could not walk. The Vet told us it is a 50/50 chance. It was very difficult to hear, but she gave us antibiotics and vitamins for the dog, sadly our dog passed away, but the vet was very nice about telling us what steps to take in either situation. We have another dog who is 13 years old and he had a horrible problem with his teeth and the vet gave him antibiotics as well and took out his teeth and he is doing great.

Absolutley dont go here! I was there on Wednesday, told the doctor that my dog was yelping, tucking his tail, and dragging his lower body on the ground. He tried to say, that he was in pain and gave me medicine. Mind you it didnt work! Before I went back, my friends mom works as veterinarian, therefore I asked her opinion. When I told her and sent her the video, right away she said it could possibly be intervetbal disk disease. Then I went back on Saturday and told him that I have a video. Dr. Luka really knows what she is doing. I brought my puppy in last week as an emergency after noticing difficulty breathing. Dr. Luka took her in right away and listened to her lungs. My puppy had pneumonia, was given an antibiotic injection, and sent home with oral antibiotics. She got better very quickly, and all at a very reasonable price. I will continue to take my fur baby to see Dr. Luka.

We walked in with our husky this Saturday. This clinic is an older clinic which there is nothing wrong with but there is a difference between being old and being dirty. My husband and I both work in medicine and although I assume standards are different for humans and animals, it doesn't seem sanitary or ethical to be spraying Lysol on a paper towel and then using it to wipe off a thermometer that had been sitting there dirty since the last patient. We noticed the Vaseline container sitting there open collecting bacteria. Stay away!!!!

I got tired of other vets that overcharging I went to Village West and they charged me almost $200 to do a skin test on my cat because he was scratching so much that his hair was falling out in certain areas. When I called for the result the vet assistant told me it was "inconclusive" to say I was pissed is putting it mildly. Don't even try to go here for a pet dental visit the prices are OUTRAGEOUS! I brought my cat Schwee here after she maybe ate something very toxic. I tried my first vet, Village West, and they wouldn't speak to me until I did a $75 phone consultation with Animal Poison Control. I called Delta Animal Hospital right away, and Schwee was on Dr. Luka's examination table 10 minutes later. It was such a relief to be able to bring her in to see a vet right away, and the cost was so affordable that I booked follow-ups for both my cats and plan on continuing to use Delta as my primary vet. It is no frills, but the peace of mind I received today was priceless. Thank you

I was very sceptical with my decision to let my pitbull here for his earcropping but the doctors did an awesome job, i am very happy with the final results. My boy looks awesome. Make sure you stick to exactley what you need when you go there as they will try to talk you in more service for your pet.

Delta Animal Hospital is going to be my new animal hospital moving forward. As others have said, it isn't fancy. It just isn't. It's bare bones, definitely could use some remodeling and isn't much to look at. However their staff is friendly, their doctors are knowledgeable, their prices simply can't be beat and what they do for the animals is excellent. Plus it's super close to my new home I'm moving to in a week!

This place is disgusting. I took my dog on Sunday because he was very sick with diarrea, and that doctor did nothing. They charged me $40 dollars just for telling me that I needed to take my dog to a real hospital, because they are not an emergency place. Even thought they are not an emergency place they should not charge just for telling you that.

Furthermore, there was hair on the floor from other dogs and smells horrible! That place is really dirty.

I took both of my girls (dog and cat) to Delta for a little over a year then two things happened that made me decide to go elsewhere for their care...


1) I had my dogs teeth cleaned. They called me to pick her up, I was more than happy to pick her up. When I arrived she was barely able to walk! I could tell that she was still very groggy. She passed out sleep before we pulled off on our short drive and she peed all over the back seat. She was in a deep sleep, because of the medicine and had no control of her urine. Unfortunately, it was NOT my car so I had a huge apology to make. My question
