My senior Japanese mom had tooth and mouth pain. We called and left a message on a Sunday. First thing on Monday morning the staff called and set up an 11 am appointment for Monday. Dr Tsuchiya saw and treated Mama for her problem. He speaks Japanese and has a wonderful manner that was appreciated by Mama. The cost was very reasonable - thought it would be much more cause we don't have dental insurance. That evening Dr Tsuchiya called to see how she was doing. He also sent home after care instructions in Japanese. Tue morning the staff called to see how Mom was doing and to make sure she would

Great dentist. I got the amazing treatment from Dr. Tsuchiya and it completely removed pain that I had when I drank cold water or ate sweet food. I have visited several other dentists trying to get rid of pain but was not successful. Instead I was recommended using Sensodyne toothpaste by some other dentists. After the treatment, my teeth don't feel sensitive anymore. What a great dentist in bay area.

Dr. Tsuchiya remains my favorite dentist. He and his staff really take care of patients. I look forward to and enjoy my yearly visits here!!
It's a Japanese/English speaking practice...I'm about as Japanese as a can of Coke and I LOVE coming here.
They'll listen if you voice concerns. If something hurts, it will be taken care of right away. I can't do ultrasonic cleanings -they just kill my teeth -the staff has noted it so I don't have to remind them. They're really gentle on my teeth and gums too and never make me feel less than like some dentists from my past experiences

I've been a patient of Dr. Tsuchiya for 15 years now, driving from places I've lived all over the Bay Area in order to get to him. He is incredibly professional, super smart and has great chair-side manner. His office was remodeled in the last few years (not that I thought it needed it) and everything inside is state-of-the-art and very clean. I don't think you can get any better than this, and I am so glad to be able to be his patient. I've referred a friend and my husband to him and they are both just as happy.

It's too bad Yelp will only allow 5 stars.
Dr. Tsuchiya is the absolute best!!!
Office - his office is conveniently located off of 85. There really isn't a reason a person would miss his office unless they were asleep while driving. His office faces Wright Ave., and parking really isn't a problem. The actual office itself is very warm and welcoming. You're not greeted with some receptionist that hates their job. Every station is equipped with the necessities along with a television and great view of the outside. Nothing dirty or unorganized will be found in this office

Dr.Tsuchiya is awesome. My family has been going to him since he took over Dr. Faber's practice many year ago. I generally hate going to the dentist but I know that when I do have to go, Dr. Tsuchiya will take good care of me. A few years back I needed some emergency work prior to taking a business trip. He met me at his office on a saturday and took care of him. He was dressed in a suit and was on his way to wedding, but took the time to see me. Amazing personal service. He has the latest dental equipment and just installed individual TVs at each chair so you can watch TV while he works

Seriously, I know a good dentist when I have one, because I had some doozies (and by "doozies" I mean "horrible nightmares") for my dental care before I found Dr. Tsuchiya. He is THE BEST.
But first, hear my tales of woe because, admit it, that's really why you read yelp in the first place, isn't it? You sicko. Ok, so growing up we had this shi-shi dentist in Los Altos who my mom chose solely on the fact that he graduated from UCSF where all her kids were born (my mom is a serious franciscophile). Little did she know that this guy was a straight-up IDIOT. I didn
