Took my truck in on Monday for a bad knocking sound and the truck smoking. They held my truck for almost 2 days before calling to tell me that they couldn't find anything. Of course they conveniently found that the rear brakes were bad after I told them I'd just come pick it up. Against my better judgment I allowed them to replace the brakes thinking maybe that was the problem. Long story short $600 dollars later and the truck still makes the same noise, the tires were knocked off balance and the smoke issue was never even addressed. The truck is literally worse off than it was before entering

Was referred here by insurance company WORST MISTAKE EVER servicer already had an issue with my insurance carrier…that had
nothing to do with our claim. Took over 2 weeks for truck to be completed and kept calling with issues that wasn’t present when the truck was dropped off. Finally my husband picked up the truck and oil light on and other issues…DON’T GO HERE! Save yourself the headache.

DISHONEST and DECEPTIVE. Your best bet is to AVOID these CROOKS at all costs. Tell you one thing on the phone and get there and nobody remembers the phone conversation. I should have walked out then and there!! I will NOT be returning. They 🔥 burnt me for over SEVEN HUNDRED DOLLARS to replace my spark plugs, replace an ignition coil, and replace a windshield wiper motor!! They charged just under ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS for eight spark plugs!! Paid two hours LABOR to replace the wiper motor that I furnished, TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS plus they failed to return the core. That shouldn't have taken over 30

Charged a family member of mine a but load of money and soon as we got the car on the hwy it broke down. Not cool. I wouldn't recommend my enemy to this place. They "tune-up" if that's what you wanna call it, change spark plugs but not the wires like really who does that? Bottom line if you living from paycheck to paycheck do not go there you will be disappointed i promise I know too many people to get stuck or say something bad about butler. Go their at your own risk!

My first contact with Butler was to get an estimate. The customer lobby area (Downtown Augusta location) was immaculate and comfortable, and what I could see of the shop area looked clean and orderly as well. This is typically a good indicator of the quality I can expect from a place I am not familiar with.
I wanted an estimate to compare what I had gotten from a recent diagnosis and quote from a dealership. Butler's quote was significantly better and they could get me in the next day. The plan was to replace the valve body gasket (bad oil leak) and replace the brake pads.

Eddie Butler (Automotive) not a very good place to service a vehicle. My first experience was to get the radiator on a 2004 xc 90 volvo repaired . When I got my vehicle, the front of the bumper was not fastened to the vehicle. I called and they fixed it. Next issue was a starter. All went well. I went to pick the vehicle up and I was told by the front desk that I should get a another car that one is old. I had a slight issue that needed to be repaired. I took my vehicle to Gerald Jones volvo. The estimate was out of my range. My wife and I decided since Butler AUTOMOTIVE had been doing work on
