My sweet 5-month-old puppy Hazel received such compassionate care from the staff and Dr. Kirk. From the time I called them, they got me in within five minutes of arriving. They did all they could do to try and help save Hazel, and I will forever be grateful. Thank you for the sweetest condolences. She's now my Angel Pup in heaven.

Edit: our Kitty is sick again.. This time, my husband took her elsewhere (St. Bernard's). Come to find out our kitty is full blown Diabetic and will need insulin the rest of her life. As soon as she urinated, they found glucose. They confirmed everything via blood work then kept her all day and evening to test her reaction to insulin. I'm really disappointed that my previous visit at Alta Bluff did not find this information. Moving to 3 stars because the support staff was amazing. I just wish they would have diagnosed my kitty correctly.

I took my kitten in for shots and they refused to see the kitten 2 days later after i showed concern about her limping and being in pain. Apon my own examination of the kitten her entire leg is cut and seems to be getting worse by the day i call back and still they want to charge me for a problem they created (i know this because the kitten hasnt left the bathroom since the initial visit and was perfect before i took her in) they told me she was squrimy and to expect a bruise but this is far from a bruise.

We had to put our cat down this morning... My cat was fine before going to alta bluff animal hospital. We brought our beloved cat in for a booster shot, when we got the cat back it was acting funny, like drunk, so we figured it was maybe from the booster shot. We put her in a carrier to rest. Overnight her leg and rear end had swollen up. Alta bluff animal hospital refused to see our cat for a recheck. We took our cat to our old Vet, across town. They shaved the cat, and we found a major laceration that wrapped from its inner leg to its back. No one can give us an explanation. My children and wife
