Dr. Chin provides the highest level of comprehensive and compassionate dental care to each patient. Her practice utilizes the latest in dental technology to provide treatment in the most comfortable, gentle, and efficient manner. Dr. Chin has been practicing in Sacramento since 1994.
She graduated with honors from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts in 1989 and then completed a two year advanced education in general dentistry clinical program at the University of California San Francisco's Buchanan Dental Clinic.After completing her residency, Dr. Chin was hired as an Assistant Director of that program and also as a faculty member at the UCSF School of Dentistry.

This is a dental office where you can really trust that you're in good hands. Dr. Chin is so honest and conservative, I've always really trusted all of her recommendations. They run on time. They're nice and friendly. The hygienists are awesome. It's super clean and sanitary. They use digital xrays and have Netflix and Pandora for you to enjoy while you're gettin your teeth poked-at! Great office all around. Easy access. Easy parking. Fantastic staff. :)

I visited this dentist based on the stellar reviews that I saw here. However, my experience with this office was less than exemplary! She gave me the medical diagnosis as "that's an owie" and referred me to have a tooth extracted by an oral surgeon in Fair Oaks. Seriously, Fair Oaks is the closest oral surgeon toucan refer me too!?!?! I have seen another dentist who was able to perform a root canal with minimal issues. I felt kinda fleeced as I pain $180 for the x-rays and referral. She didn't even come up with a further treatment plan. All in all, I was very disappointed in

Dr, Terry Chin is amazing. I had not seen a dentist in over a year due to moving and university studies, and her teeth cleaning and knowledge of plak and gum irritation is amazing. She used new rotoscope tools (camera that goes in your mouth) so i could see exactly what she was talking about. I Highly recommend!

Our family has been with Dr. Chin for over 8 years. She and her staff are amazing. Always able to get us in for last minute appointments. Dr chin has NEVER suggested a procedure that didn't seem required, and she has always had a calm, wait and watch approach. She's great with kid exams and fluoride treatments. She and her staff run an office with a great atmosphere and kind approach to a not so fun necessity of life!

Seems almost redundant for me to add my review as there are so many great reviews already.
i'm embarrassed to admit that i had not been to see a dentist for around 10 years until last week. i have had three appointments with dr. chin in the last week and i can happily say she is the best dentist i have ever visited. everybody in the office is friendly and welcoming and my time in the chair has been stress-free. her work is great and i do not hesitate to recommend this practice.

Dr. Chin and her staff were polite and helpful. She explained what should be done illustrating with x-rays. She was realistic about staging the treatment so that it would not be too exhausting or costly. Not too happy to find a cavity, but I see it myself and so feel well informed. And right in the neighborhood!

Great service and always on time. The staff is very pleasant and the office seems to have all the right equipment without the pretentious big dentist office 'atmosphere'. Dr Chin is really nice and you will like the 'neighborhood dentist' feel of her office. I have had several cavities and cleanings here and have had only good experiences.

Best dentist ever ! I am one of those patients that dreads the dentist and my experiences have been disappointing. Not any more. Dr. Chin is excellent. She explains everything. She is on time. She is thorough. She is gentle. Competent and professional. She has made a fan of me and I will no longer cringe at the thought of visiting the dentist. Looking for a new dentist? I agree with Moses H. on all accounts. I've never been to a Dr.'s office that actually on time, until now. Heck I even showed up early and they were ready for me.
Dr. Chin and all of her staff are very nice. I've unfortunately seen them for several cavities and scrapings as well as more routine cleanings and all have gone well.

Excellent family dentist. Takes all types of insurance and good prices for out-of-pocket customers (or so I've been told on that last item). Have been a customer for 6 years, ever since she took over the practice from Dr. Jacks (who was also my dentist). She is nice and very competent, and her staff are terrific. Always on time, always fast, always painless. My whole family goes here.
