This was our first time using the 'Fondue to Go'. We're very pleased with the presentation and the instructions they provided. It was clear and perfect. So long as you follow the steps, it is as easy as 1,2,3. Literally. This place is a one of a kind for a reason. Because it delivers consistent service, quality and atmosphere. If you've never dined here, come with an empty stomach and a full appetite.

Really expensive and setup to maximize you spend. Food was interesting and tasty, though the portions were really small. The salad was a small plate. Though the place was relatively empty, they put us side by side with several other people. Not good for the customer, during a pandemic. The server was nice but poorly dressed and didn't come across as clean.

We went for the fondue experience. This place is overrated. All portions are small and overpriced. The taste is average. The staffs in front make us wait, while one is dealing with a complaint by someone on the phone, the other was just listening and warning him not to tell her manager, instead of taking us to our table. We are three, but portion is for one or two person and charge the third person $65 for sharing the pot. You lose your hunger by waiting for your meat cooked in the pot. The highlight is the boiling pot with the melting cheese and chocolates which you can do at home really with

With this being one of the last two Melting Pots in Southern California, I had to come check it out, because I have had fondue in years, since the Irvine location closed. Everything was just as I remembered it. I love it years ago, and I still love it now. First off, the cheese is always a favorite in my family.

This is a good restaurant, but a bit pricey. The Alpine Classic cheese fondue was great, we loved it. Also the Steak Fondue was good, but I wish they would offer or combine the steak with a cheese fondue. One thing they should really improve: Please toast the bread - important! Therefore, four stars because three stars would be underrated.

We are surprise by the ambiance! The concept of the restaurant give you a perfect time with your lover or your family. We take the ''Big Night Out Dinner for 2" and it's a HUGE big meal! We roll out after the chocolate fondue. The Cabernet red wine is perfect, the portion is perfect, the dessert.... with an Irish Coffee at the end. Our server was Leandro, and he did a really good service. We recommend this restaurant!!!

Great food and great service! Lalanga offered great table service to my wife and I even though initially we were the furthest thing from chatty as we were going through a tough time. He was attentive and courteous even though I'm sure our table was likely the hardest to read as far as our needs were concerned. The manager (wish I had his name to highlight here as well) went the extra mile for us after our own error spoiled some of our food.

I have been here on many occasions ranging from fun hang outs with friends, to date nights, and anniversaries. The service is always excellent thanks to the very attentive and well trained wait staff. The Classic alpine is my personal favourite as a lover of sharp cheese fondue, and one of my favourite meals to share with my girl friend.

Food was awesome as usual. Service was very poor. Dirty plates and glassware took forever to clear. The server was bordering on rude. We asked for a clean spoon because the one she brought was dirty with stuck on food. When she brought the next one she told me to inspect it before she left so that it was up to my standards. We had a different server bring us our dessert. He was great. For the quality And price of the food you would hope that the service would match.

I'll give it two stars because the food is good but the management is awful and rude. Was trying to go there with a friend yesterday and made reservations but we were running late so we called them out of courtesy to let them know we are on our way and we will be twenty minutes late to our reservations. They said that it is fine there's no problem, so we are on our way and we are sitting in traffic. Thirty minutes later they call us back and put the manager on the phone saying that they're unable to take us despite that we made reservations and they had agreed to take us even though

We have tried the fondue restaurant in Sherwood Park and it simply does not compare. Very good drinks and atmosphere, especially if you manage to snag one of their more private tables.
The food has been excellent quality every time. We love that you get a variety of sauces (6-7 I believe) rather than a limit and can have unlimited dipping pieces for all but the main course.
All but this last time the service has been excellent (have visited for 8 yrs). This time it appeared we had an inexperienced server, though that could likely be due to the pandemic.

We have been celebrating our anniversary at the Melting Pot for 27 years now! Every year (and most Valentines Days) we go to the Melting Pot and are never disappointed. This year was no different!
In fact our server Linda made the BEST ALPINE cheese blend we have ever had! It was outstanding! Thank you Linda and the folks at the Melting Pot Thousand Oaks for another amazing experience.

Good fun experience, but we had 5 different people serve us! We were there for two hours and only saw the our waitress 3 times. she didn't even bring us any of the food these guys did and this manager looking guy in a suit had to explain what we got when they brought out the food? The server should do that. All she did was take our order and say how's it going? Why would I tip that? I'd rather tip the manager that explained all the meats and how to cook it and suggested some stuff we should try, he was a better server than the chick they had as our "sever"?

All the booths are separate this place is so amazing I would literally pour this cheese all over the table and just lick it off that's how good it is they called me Liz lemon and trust I am no lemon. The fondue is so good it's very cheesy they came with four courses the chocolate hot bowl and all the treats were amazing favorite

The food is ALWAYS amazing, I've never walked away feeling slighted or disappointed. Pricing makes sense and the food is definitely worth it. My personal new favorite is the Blackberry Sage Lemonade, to die for!
I've had Vanessa as a server two of the four times I've visited. She is so comfortable and such a pleasure to talk to. If you ever ask, she always has a recommendation and is super accommodating. If I could request a server...I would request her again and again!

I had such a great experience here! Not sure why some of the reviewers were so upset about the service. All the servers we came across were so friendly and helpful. The food was fantastic. I understand that some folks might've showed up expecting unrealistic service given the price point, but that's on them. I'm a local and will definitely return.

Doesn't get much worse than this. I came here to commemorate taking the CA state bar exam. They laughed when I told them what I was celebrating. So, hostesses, I don't know why you're both aimlessly still chatting- but we had a reservation and wanted to eat. So ignoring the disinterest of the host, after waiting about 20 minutes someone finally comes by and asks what we want to drink. My dad orders sparkling water, she comes out with club soda. Do you think we cannot afford sparkling water or do you have no knowledge of food service? Either way it takes about another 20 minutes to

It was very cool to cook our own food; however, the meat didn't taste very good. I liked the concept, but they don't even give u salt to season it. The meat/seafood is given to you in big chunks and does not cook too well in the pots they give you. When I've had this before (not here) the meat came out nice/tender/crispy. A memorable experience and taste. This was not it.

DO NOT EVER GO TO THIS PLACE... the menu is extremely unclear and heads up if you want to order a la carte for a single person you will automatically be charged for 2 servings/ people... the alcohol is very cheap and also not worth your money. Overall here you are getting poor food and drinks for high prices. Please take you money elsewhere where you will actually get quality food and service.

I was very upset that the Irvine melting pot closed down so on our trip back from channel island we stopped here and this place did not disappoint!
Mojo with vegetarian plate is amazing. The green goddes dipping is the BEST.

If you're an Asian or not white then save yourself some time and do NOT go to this place. The staff is extremely rude and have no class. The food is NOT fresh at all and are served cold and bland (talking about the dip and frozen veggies). They will rush you to finishing a four course meal while they take their sweet time serving the cold food to you. On top of this, they will also give you really bad attitude even if we were just trying to strike a decent and friendly conversation. They're probably trained how to sarcastically answer you so you can stop asking few requests. Disappointing

1st, when making a reservation please be sure to ask them how long you can stay and enjoy your meal. Make sure to check whether or not you can enjoy a 4C meal or not based on the time frame they give you. If you honestly can't finish all of it in 90 mins, do yourself a favor and skip some of the other parts of the meal instead of paying good money for something you can't enjoy.

Service was good but the dinning room was really dark I'm glad we had a lamp above our heads or it would've been very hard to see, I feel bad for the tables that didn't have a light. When you get there it doesn't look like much from the outside but it's a real treasure on the inside. It's definitely a very romantic, Elegant, and intimate restaurant. Excellent place for a two hour sit down lunch or dinner. You don't even notice how long you're there because it's such a pleasant experience.
