The only restaurant in Fredericksburg that would seat us outside for dinner. Our new server was enthusiastic, patient, and attentive with a sense of humor (5⭐s for her). It's a good thing we planned for the lack of outdoor heaters, with fleece blankets to sit on and cover legs, making the 50-something temp bearable. We shared a Greek salad and a delicious burrata & prosciutto pizza and some cocktails. I'd go back to taste more of the wood-fired oven pizzas, there were so many that sounded yummy.

First time here but wasn't the best service. We went upstairs and waited for quite some time. After waiting for over 10 minutes a waiter said we could sit anywhere. Another waiter said they would come and find us. They never did. We were never waited on. Never got any water. We went downstairs and was seated right away. The waiter was better but got distracted talking to other employees. The food was ok. I had a great mixed drink though

We've been to Castiglia's maybe a half dozen times including last week. Generally, we go when the weather is nice and we can eat on the roof. Food is always good and sometimes excellent. Loaded nachos last week were among the best we have had. Shrimp tacos were also very good. Beer selection is a little weak. Service has been generally good. Ratings on Google are skewed high, so four stars would not be enough, but there's no 4.5 star selection. Posted photos of the two meals I mentioned. If this helps you, give me a helpful thumbs up. The wait staff was friendly but not very attentive. Our food arrived before our beverages. The beverages was much to be desired. It was hard to tell the difference between a Moscow mule or a glass of water by sight. The establishment was very loud and the tables rocked as we ate. I would not return even if it were for free.

The taco pizza here is amazing and this place offers a variety of pizza options as well as a full bar. Most of the food here is well executed. Unfortunately, on my last visit staff was sub par. The server was unsure of what was on draft and most of the staff was gathered around the bathroom gossiping. I would also make a recommendation that the kitchen staff have some sort of matching uniform due to the fact that it's an open kitchen. It looks sloppy when the cooks are in personal t-shirts. Aside from that, I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a good pizza place.
