It is said that you can't remove the AC compressor on this engine without removing the water pump. Here I show you how to do exactly that, remove the AC compressor without removing the water pump on the 5.7 L engine in a 2000 Chevrolet Corvette. The main key is to Jack the engine up by loosening or taking off the motor mount nut right on the passenger side beneath the rear of the AC compressor.

Ed is a lifesaver. I tried to replace my light assembly myself and couldn't manage. So I called around to see who could help. No one would because I already bought the part. When I got a hold of Ed though, he said that was great and he could be there same day, in a couple of hours. I thought I wouldn't be able to drive all day, but he was so punctual and very fast with the work itself. I will definitely be calling him again next time I have a problem.

Was refer to this mechanic, Texted him because my car was making noise under the right tire and when you brake it went to the ground. He came out and looked, it was lower right arm and the brakes was missing some pins or bolt. It would move away from the brake. Car doesn't shake or make noises and brakes work now. Didn't take no time at all. Came right out fully prepared. Jacked it up and fixed it. Not pricey at all. Since then, he has done work on my 72 mustang. I'm happy to say he has it running now too. This man is a heaven sent. He scheduled me in the next day.

I'd recommend Edward any day! I had a sticking caliper and contacted him though text and he responded promptly so I could schedule appointments. It was a long process because there were many factors that could be the cause for my issue. As a result, his recommendations weren't on point and I ended up replacing things that were unnecessary. I don't blame him though, because the minor things can be easily overlooked. Turned out I had a stuck guide pin in the brake caliper bracket! I read about that, but of course, I overlooked that too.

I tip my cap to Ed! He texted me to ensure I was home and to let me know his ETA, which was definitely appreciated. My truck needed to have its starter replaced and Ed did so within an hour's time, which gave me back the rest of my afternoon to go run and train! He was very knowledgeable about the process for replacing the part and even provided a reference for where I could take the old part, to recover a core charge or have it refurbished. Would definitely recommend to my friends and colleagues.

My son called this business several times and left a voice-mail. He finally was able to get someone and they told him that they could come the next day and would call him when they were on their way. Well the next day came but they never called. What an inconvenience to wait and wait and even call to find out if anyone was in their way and leave another voice mail and you get nothing. He called someone else. Disappointed because the reviews are great.

I am sold on using Edward for any future mechanical issues. I got the opportunity to visit with him while he was working. Outstanding guy that offers affordable repair at your home.. My issue had to do with the A/C. I presumed it was the compressor and bought all the parts but after his diagnosis he found out the condenser had a leak from a rock flying up.

Ed is amazing!!! Marc my previous NY mobile expert will rejoice with my precious find.
I contacted Ed after seeing his Craiglist listing. I texted him to ask for a best price to replace my front rotors and brakes plus my left sway bar link. He had to wait for parts I had ordered.
Today I texted him to let him know that the parts are in. I asked when he could swing by my apartment to do the job. That was around 5pm. He texted back that he would be at my place soon. He arrived at around 7.15pm, 45 minutes after he said he would arrive.
Long story short, he finished the job with amazing quality

I contacted Ed on a Saturday with a non-urgent issue (my AC has been on the fritz...so, somewhat urgent, considering Austin's full summer wrath is nearly upon us) and he made time to come out to my house on Sunday afternoon. The first step is diagnostics, so we did a simple recharge with dye. There were no obvious, fast leaks and he also made sure my AC drain wasn't clogged. Right now, I've got a beautiful, cold breeze flowing from my vents, but he said if that changes or I notice a bigger leak, he'd come out to complete the diagnostics/provide a quote for repair at no extra

Ed is the man. Great communication to schedule appointment by texting. He works quick and does excellent work. I wasn't sure if I had a dead battery or bad alternator, but Ed diagnosed it and explained everything to me, drove me to store to get the part, and took only thirty minutes to replace the whole thing.
He even cleaned the throttle and reattached a loose cable while replacing the alternator.

When you give a five star rating, Yelp says "Woohoo! As good as it gets!" over there to the right. I can't agree more. CALL THIS MAN!!!!!!! Let me tell you why! Ed and I had quite the adventure today, so sit tight - this is going to be a long one. But man, was it fun!! It's the most pleasant experience I've ever had finding out my vehicle is toast.

My mobile mechanic of 8 years retired in January, and...I have been a little nervous to say the least...hoping my 07 Honda Accord never breaks down again! IT IS SOOOOO HARD actually finding a mechanic you can trust. I mean there are so many horror stories out there.
