From the age of 19, Jim Lawler knew he wanted to be a builder and set himself to the task of learning from the best. He learned how important relationships are in business from his father, who was a plumbing contractor for 30 years in the Sedona/Verde Valley area.
He learned every aspect of construction from the leading contractors in the area and at the age of 26, he was awarded his first contract to build a home as a general contractor. Jim and Cindy Lawler have been building their family business together in the Verde Valley for over 30 years. Their motto: "Good Service, Good Value and Good Quality" has been the foundation of their business.

It's nearly a year since we moved back into our remodeled home, and not a day goes by that we don't admire and appreciate all the work you and your crews did. Every space in the house is now so functional-from the room layouts to the storage-but most of all, it's beautiful. We kept saying we wanted a space that was serene and organic, and that's just what everyone gave us.
We have had the privilege of teaming up with Jim Lawler and his staff to bring our dream of building a beautiful business office to a reality. The entire process, from the very infant stages of design to the completion of our project has been a journey. Jim and his staff have delivered all of their promises and then some.
After some rudimentary research, it was very obvious to my wife and I that Lawler Construction was a well regarded and reputable firm. During the whole time we engaged Lawler to construct our home, we lived in Michigan. Virtually all of the building decisions were done by phone or internet. I felt very comfortable with the level of communication.
