The virtual prenatal yoga classes were great. They are easy to book online. I met several instructors. They are all very friendly and help customize the class based on the feedback from the attendees at the start of the class. Highly recommend for mothers or expecting mother's who want to stay active.

I found CocoonCare a little late in my pregnancy with my first child, so with my second I was determined to do yoga throughout my pregnancy from the week I found out I was pregnant.

I thought the pandemic would thwart my workout plans, but CocoonCare actually made it easy to attend classes by holding them live via Zoom.

For a pregnant mom of a preschooler, the ability to attend class during my lunch breaks, at home, was a game changer. I know everyone is itching to get back into the studio- but I do hope they keep some of the Zoom classes as traveling to a studio (especially after work when

I found Cocooncare in my second trimester and joined their online prenatal support group and have been taking their classes virtually due to the pandemic. Diana, the owner, is knowledgeable, approachable, and helpful, and there is a real sense of community at this studio compared to others I've been to. The instructors (Diana, Heather, and Alex) are great, and take a personalized approach in their teaching. I'm really glad I found this studio!

Cocooncare has high quality yoga instructors and a good space. The instructors try their best to cater to the wide variety of needs of the class and are very helpful and hands on if needed. They really care about the customers and have been really quick to answer the phone to help with login issues etc. This is my second pregnancy and both experiences (two years apart) have been wonderful!

CocoonCare has been such a great place to go during pregnancy! The classes are small and they focus a lot of energy on each person's individual needs. It has been a great place to get in some exercise and meet new mommy's to be during pregnancy! I highly recommend it!!

This place is great. Diana really has made it her mission to care and make yoga accessible for pregnant women. The member packages are a great deal. The place is super relaxing with a smell of incense and quiet vibe on the top floor. The instructors are generally attentive and thoughtful. They have different backgrounds in yoga styles but use many of the same techniques to stretch the back and hips and strengthen the core. I have really enjoyed coming here even when I'm tired in the evening I feel better after some light movement here. Worth checking out if you live or work and are pregnant

I started with yoga classes at CocoonCare when I was 12 weeks pregnant and continued during most of my pregnancy. I really enjoyed meeting other pregnant women in classes and the personalized instruction by the yoga teachers. The owner, Diana, is a really caring person. I am sad that I am moving out of state since I would have loved to have continued to take classes here.

CocoonCare has been great for my pregnancy! I love taking the yoga classes and the strength classes. The after-work classes are convenient and I always go home in a better mood. The instructors are all great: it's been fun being pregnant with Christina, Lucia is a great motivator in the strength classes, and is a thoughtful yogini.

Christina, Lucia, and Diana are outstanding instructors. Christina has a healing touch and empathetic demeanor that empowers and calms all of her clients. I've attended CocoonCare for the last 7 months and honestly look forward to attending classes on a weekly basis. It has alleviated my back pain and other pregnancy related aches as well as provided a calming sense of wellness. Highly recommend

CocoonCare yoga classes have been great during my pregnancy. Helping me to stay flexible and feeling strong. At the start of each class is an opportunity to request poses or areas you want to work on. I feel like the instructor will make suggestions to help with any pain/soreness I'm having. Highly recommend! Excited for new classes being offered with the new owner.

Update: they have a new owner. Have not been. Website looks like they will keep the same cardio classes but I don't see our fav instructors listed (like kassandra). I'm sad to see it go to some (imho hullabaloo) ART nutrition place. And it will be all yoga. Boooooooo. So many prenatal yoga places. Prefer ladies need cardio! I hope the concept takes off and this remains the great "gym" I fell in love with.

I received a package class as a gift so I can work out with my baby, I try scheduling the class on line but it doesn't allow me to put the gift certificate as payment. I tried calling for two consecutive days but they never answer the phone. Finally I tried dropping by for a noon class. The place is close there is a sign that indicates they will open the next day at 10 am. I am not sure if the place is permanently close or temporarily and there is no way to contact them for information. I'm extremely disappointed.

Their office management is messed up. Even they mention to be able to adjust term by medical reason, they don't or you have to call and email again and again.
The floor is not clean, you see dusts& hair a lot. Guess they may sweep only once a week.....

Can't begin to say enough about this place! It is simply one of Chicago's best kept pregnancy secrets. Cocoon Care was an oasis for me during my pregnancy and helped me have a positive and healthy prenatal experience. I found this boutique gym early in my pregnancy and in the middle of winter and it quickly became a source of sunshine. The… instructors are incredibly passionate and knowledgeable and able to guide you through the do’s and don’t specific to prenatal work outs. They taught so many practical tips during the classes about things to do at home, strategies for protecting

I've waited a day to write this review to see if my feelings would settle and if the owner would make it right. Shame on him, he hasn't, so wanted to warn other ladies out there so they don't go through the grief that I was caused.

I signed up for a mommy and me class for my 4month old (next Tuesday). I though this would be something fun to do on a Saturday to enjoy our time together. When I showed up the two other babies in the class were 9months and the other one was 5months. I realized that my baby wasn't crawling like the others so I said you know what I'll just sit

I love CocoonCare! I have done about 10 classes so far (currently 16 weeks pregnant) and each of them is amazing. So far I've done the yoga, barre, and cardio/weights. FYI Karla's cardio/weights class on Mondays will kick your butt! (In a good way!) This is the motivation I need right now! And Kassandra's final push/toning for labor class on Saturdays is a great combo of strength, muscle toning, and a little yoga. She will also push you to your limit (without any safety concerns).
The facility is small (has only two rooms) but luckily classes don't book up too quickly. Except

What a great spot! I've been going to CocoonCare since my second trimester and credit it with keeping me grounded and active during my pregnancy.

The prenatal yoga classes have been great. Had some lower back pain early on and my doctor recommended yoga but it's hard to be comfortable with the modifications at a regular yoga studio. Since about my second week at CocoonCare, the back pain has not been an issue and I only got bigger from there! Special shout-out to the Yoga w/Partners class that Casey teaches once a week. So nice to do supported stretching and also practice labor

Any yoga class that says 'candlelight' instantly attracts me. So, when I saw an (open to all) candlelight flow class on a Friday, I was instantly sold. (I did email to confirm that the class was open to all people, not just pregnant women. Just to be sure.)

The instructor was super friendly and gave me the run down on the studio: bathrooms, showers, lockers, and showed me a bunch of mats we could use as well as blocks/straps.

It was a flowing class, challenging but modifications were always offered. There were both pregnant and non-pregnant women in the class, so the instructor was

This review is for Kindermusik with Ms. Lea that takes place in the yoga studio weekly. We've just started our second 10 week program and the 18 month old I bring and I both love it (it's his favorite weekly activity). There's a great balance of free play/movement with structure. He's learned rhythm, how to stop his movement (clapping, running, patting knees) on cue, and that when the music stops it is time to put our instrument away. Each class involves a greeting song, bubble and story time, and several song/dance activities, and a farewell song, with just the right amount

I have been going to CocoonCare for almost two months and I really enjoy it! My favorite classes are the cardio classes with Carla and Kathryn. Partner yoga is amazing too, my husband and I learned a lot of tricks which we hope to use during labor. The studio is clean, and the staff are very friendly.

Cocoon care was a great resource while I was pregnant and getting back into shape after my daughter was born. It's a great place to make friends with other moms, too. I highly recommend fit for labor and the partners yoga classes - I found that they were better preparation for labor than the official labor classes.

In my third trimester, I went to "The Final Push" workout classes led by Kassandra almost every weekend. I would describe it as a mix of aerobics/jazzercise, strength training, and yoga/stretching, which I loved. The classes were not too easy and not too challenging.

CocoonCare has a very friendly atmosphere, and I love that they offer postnatal classes so that after you have your baby, you can find a mommy support group, get back in shape, and/or attend a class to further your baby's development. Another plus = it's very easy to find parking in the area!

I love the classes at CocoonCare and have attended consistently since I was about 9 weeks. The difficulty levels of each teacher vary, and I'm always learning new techniques that I'm able to use even on days when I can't make it to the gym. I did the 3 month membership and will be renewing, as I feel like it is really working. Definitely worth it! Bonus: They have post-natal classes as well, and allow you to bring your baby!

Without this place my pregnancy would have been very different. I first signed up with a 10 pack for the prenatal yoga. I then was a member for months 6-9 and it was soooo helpful to have these classes to keep me active. Prenatal yoga on the ball was excellent with Katie - she's an amazing instructor. The exercise classes were also great, it's something to do for yourself and your baby that will help you stay healthy and have a shorter labor. [Now I'll never know what my labor would have been like without taking these classes, but I had a very short, uncomplicated and unmedicated

I have been coming to Cocoon Care for about a month and cannot say enough good things about their Prenatal workouts.

Prior to getting pregnant I loved any type of workout that would work up a sweat. When I passed the first trimester and started looking a different prenatal classes around the city, I couldn't seem to find any classes that felt like a workout once I was finished.

Cocoon Care has provided me with a prenatal safe environment but I always leave sweating and smiling :) Alok, the owner is so friendly and they really know how to work with your body type and energy level week to
