But this was Ted's dream and he knew it would work. The timing wasn't perfect, but when is it ever? Deanna had a fulfilling & rewarding job as nurse manager at Baptist Hospital. Thinking about leaving was a difficult decision, but one made easier, when our first son, Paxton, was born. Ted had lived in Gaeta, Italy when he was younger, due to his father being a Captain in the Navy.
The Tuscan Oven Pizzeria menu features a delicious variety of classic and specialty pizzas. We also offer a delectable selection of homemade appetizers, soups and fresh salads. We invite you to try our Margherita pizza, a classic Neapolitan creation of tomatoes, mozzarella and fresh basil or perhaps our very own Abbondanza pizza, loaded with sausage, pepperoni, capacolla ham and bacon.
Whether it's an office luncheon, a birthday party, or private get together, we can handle your needs. We'll provide our delicious food, deliver it at your specified time, and set it up for your convenience. We can cater any of our mouth-watering menu options (pizzas, pasta, salads, desserts) or we can work with you to customize your order.
I not only love the food, I love the friendly atmosphere and spend many nights with our East Hill friends and neighbors here. Ted & Deanna are amazingly nice people and it's great to enjoy good food from a local small business. Being a New York Italian and experienced with pizza, I have found Ted's pizza at Tuscan Oven better than most I've ever had anywhere, including New York and Italy.

Excellent food, their pasta , appetizers And clearly pizzas & calzones are to die for
Been a fan for years and always try to go by to support this family owned business
Had not ventured since COVID pandemic started in March 2020.... Recently did go and you know food as usual was great!!!!
However they could beef up on updating and cleaning the place ( ceiling and vents are very dusty , common areas need a bit of fresh paint , bathroom needs to be kept cleaner and window panes dividing eating tables could use some elbow grease )
Don't get me wrong , This is still the best pizza/ calzone

We visited the Tuscan oven pizzeria and really enjoyed our experience! If you're looking for a delicious authentic Italian pizza the Tuscan oven pizzeria is a place to go. It's a beautiful restaurant with very friendly staff. And if you have children they even bring out dough for them to play with which was pretty cool. I would definitely go back there again!

The chicken was tough as shoe leather. The grilled chicken salad was a mistake, couldn't cut the chicken with a serrated steak knife. Waitress did not appear interested that the meal was impossible to chew or eat. Refunded $4 for cost of chicken. No response to "is all your chicken like this?" Glad we didn't get chicken on our Hawaiian pizza. The cauliflower crust pizza was good but not outstanding. Disappointed that they were not very interested in supplying a good meal. Avoid the chicken, too tough to chew.

We went Mother's Day weekend and we had an amazing time! The pizza is some of the best we've had! And I don't like tirmisu but theirs is soooo good!! Our server was so sweet and even the manager came by a few times to check on us. They really make you feel like family. This is going to be our staple! Going back for my birthday next week and can't wait!!

Typically it was my favorite place to go to when they made the pizza correctly. But sadly their customer service has gone downhill. They made pizza with pepperoni and would not correct it. All they did was added basil, how is that suppose to correct my allergy to pepperoni?! They would not correct their mistake and make new pizza. Complete waste of money as I could not eat it.

As Covid restrictions began to lift, we decided to add a new family tradition of Pizza Night Fridays. It gives us something to look forward to after a busy week and allows us to spend time as a family. We are always seeking out new pizza places to try. Tuscan Oven is one of The Best Pizzas we have had in Pensacola. Actually of all the places we have tried so far, it is the favorite of 2 of our family members.

I'm a huge pizza snob and I love this place!!! My daughter thinks the cheese is a bit rubbery-But that's my favorite part. It's not greasy at all and nice and chewy. We had a margarita and the flavors were spot on. We also had the pizza that had a ricotta with spinach in it. Amazing! And I love that they brought the kiddos someone go to play with before. It kept them entertained in a good way while we waited for our pizzas.

It has been several years since I've been to this pizza place. I was not too terribly impressed with my previous experience, but maybe today is redemption day?
This is a nice size restaurant to bring your family and friends. Our server was super nice. Since we were in a hurry today, she more than accommodated our needs to get us in and out.
From what I remember, the calamari used to be pretty amazing here. I will say it seemed super fresh and the coating was extremely light and crispy, but it was really lacking it flavor. The marinara, that came with it, was tasty

We showed up about 5 pm, first time coming. We were seated immediately. Theyre not enforcing social distancing, which isn't a huge deal to me. But when I'm siting so close to the person behind me that his chair is constantly hitting mine, its not a good time.
I cant recall our waitresses name, but she wasn't very helpful. She came by a handful of times asking if we were ready to order, when we said not quite she just took off. A friendly staff greeted us and seated us quickly. We started off with the antipasto. A tasty selection of meats, cheeses, olives etc. the highlight being the stuffed peppercini! Then we ordered the meat lovers equivalent (I forgot the name). The meats on this pizza had an enormous amount of flavor. The crust was soft and not burnt. Best pizza I've had this side of the Mississippi!!

Had a great meal there last Friday night. Our server Jo was just the best. The house salad with homemade Creamy Parmesan was super tasty. We also ordered the Spaghetti and Homemade Meatballs.....really well made. The Eggplant Parmesan was quite good as well. I would prefer breading on the eggplant vice a batter, but it was good none the less. To top it off the Canoli hit the right spot. We will be back soon.

The pizza is good! The sangeria was awful! Had some issues with the pizza being cold by the time we got it home but thats sometimes how it goes with take out. They have wood fired pizza so usually the crust is really tasty and their sauce is delicious. The price point is a bit higher but they support NB Cook so I love that... The only bad part was we bought a gallon of sangeria and it was awful! Must be made of powder mix because there was powder floaties in it and it was NOT alcoholic. Like barely at all! Drank the whole thing with my husband and friend and none of us thought it had alcohol in

Came here on my trip to Pensacola, and it was the best meal I had during my vacation. My friends and I came here for dinner on a Friday night, and it was jam packed. However, I enjoyed the coziness of the restaurant and how sweet the workers were.
We started off with some appetizers. The fried calamari had the perfect crispiness to it. The bruschetta definitely tasted earthy with all the fresh herbs on their house made bread. The star of the show were the Mozzarella en Corrozza, or just mozz sticks for normal people jargon. The plates came out and I see three huge blocks of mozzarella sticks

They used to have one of the best pizzas in Coventry until few months ago.now even a supermarket bread in the oven with some toppings tastes better than their pizza. I ordered a tandoori chicken pizza recently,and when I collected,the base was so bad,it tasted like it’s been soaked in water and then just sent over,it was very soggy,then I called them and they sent me the replacement pizza,which was even worse,it was so thin that it felt like a slap in the face. Even the quality of toppings have gone really bad. unfortunately I had to put both the pizzas in the bin.u have lost a customer here

Never had a bad experience with these guys, pizza always consistently good and the dips (think they're made fresh) are great. Haven't been to Domino's or any other pizza chain since trying Tuscany. Staff are all friendly apart from one guy who seems eternally bored and unwilling to engage in any chitchat.

I ordered a pizza and it turned up looking like it had been kicked here. No co operation from the person on the phone. I kindly asked for a driver to return and take my order away. I have been a regular for a long time. Won't be using this place again! The delivery driver was compassionate but the call handlers need to fix up!
