Alice's sprang forth from a love of great food paired with outstanding wines created by a self described "foodie" that saw a need for the revival of the classics yet allowing for choices in atmosphere and more casual comfort food. Originally from Hickory NC, Alice fell in love with Pensacola in college and her heart never left our beautiful coastline.
A mainstay at Joe Patti's Seafood, Alice has had her hand in the innovations that brought forth Amangiari's deli, the sushi bar & Anna's wines. Alice streamlined efficiency for the consumer from ordering product online, in store, to go or steamed in house. The building itself is a tribute to the Patti family's spirit and dedication to Pensacola.

Went on a Saturday night, the food was good (not great all around - not many vegetarian options, my husband's steak was ordered medium and was given rare, and appetizers were cold). Ambiance was decent, although we were yelling over each other because the live sax player was way too close to the tables. My biggest issue is the timing - we ordered our food, apps came 30 mins later, meals came an hour and a half later. I asked the waitress what was going on (would've definitely gone elsewhere if dinner was coming at 9pm!) and she said they "had a few big groups tonight, sorry." For a Saturday night

We came here just for some dessert and drinks and had the best time. The restaurant is beautiful, the food was delicious, and the staff was wonderful- we even got to meet the owner & the owner of Joe Patti’s (proof that they have QUALITY seafood!!) ! We cannot wait to come back and get some dinner some time!

They were kind enough to let my group come at 2:00 for our Ladies luncheon. The staff were very cordial though befuddled which could have been caused by 15 ladies and our " separate checks " nightmare. The food didn't arrive until after 4:00 and disappointing all around. Hot plates tepid food.
I might go back later in the day sometime because the menus looked wonderful.
I had grouper with fried soft shell crab on top. It could have been really good but for a heavy beefy sauce on potatoes and the temperature.

Inadvertently made a reservation in the wine bar area, but they were nice enough to change it when we arrived to the fine dining area. One of the best tableside Caesar salad‘s I have ever had. Lots of wild game food like bison, wild boar, rabbit, duck and veal. Wide selection of wine and spirits. Bread pudding was absolutely delicious. All in all slightly on the pricier side but the service was excellent. Chairs need updating and I felt like I was sitting on a loose tooth.

This was my first experience at Alice's and it did not disappoint. First things first, the parking lot is spacious enough to where you can comfortably park your larger SUVs or trucks without fear of hitting someone. The parking lot has cafe lights around the perimeter so it is well lit. Once inside you're greeted by beautiful art and a grand mirror that is a perfect backdrop for photos. You have the option of bar seating or fine dining and we choose the latter. In the fine dining area there was more art work that was tastefully displayed throughout the area. We started our meal

It was our anniversary dinner and it was good. Started with some drinks. Got the peanut butter Manhattan and it was very good. The filet mignon was cooked to perfection. Season to perfection. The apps were good nothing to get super excited over. The dessert was a must have dessert. The dessert was the best part of the while meal.

Being generous with a 2 star rating.
Was so very disappointed after reading all the raving reviews. Selected this restaurant for a very special birthday (for me) and a homecoming event for my daughter.
To start, ambiance is early industrial. Grey and white with exposed ducted ceiling. Low level lighting.
I am still to angry to keep writing, but I would never serve this kind of food in my own home much less at a "fancy" restaurant. 4 spears of asparagus rolled around in a little butter with no sea salt, pepper, or parmesan cheese--really, and you call that a side?? Scallops so salty

We went here in a party of seven for a birthday. The decor is beautifully moody and elegant. None of us had eaten here yet, but it's been on my list for a long time. We shared the cheese and charcuterie board (no picture, sorry!) Our server David was great! He knew the menu very well and had a unique positive comment about every dish we selected. He identified the tone of our group (we tease each other a lot), and he connected well with us. We will definitely be back again.

Sure, it's on the medium high side, price wise, but I'm going to put this restaurant parallel or above the local high end places: Jackson's and Global Grill
i don't give 5 stars to restaurants often.
The Variety (along with exceptional quality and good portion size) is the difference:
Coffee Rubbed Lamb chops, Braised Rabbit!!! Veal Oscar and Main Street Grouper were the 4 choices from our party. All were excellent.
I had the Rabbit (which you don't find anywhere) and it was not only a huge portion but had carrot puree (Ha!)
The chef came out for a bit and we got some

We cannot give Alice and her wonderful staff enough thanks to express our gratitude for coming to our rescue yesterday. At the passing of our father they put together a private luncheon in the wine bar with only a few days notice. The food was amazing, the service outstanding and Alice herself the most gracious host.
Without a doubt they blessed our family in such a profound way that will never be forgotten.
In the future we will be coming back to dine and enjoy the fine cuisine and wonderful service.

As a foodie, I've heard numerous times I had to try Alice's. Myself, my fiancé and 2 of our friends gave it a go. The staff was impeccable! Very professional and friendly. Our server was on point (my apologies for not remembering his name). Excellent wine list. Live music was nice. The atmosphere was very pleasant and comfortable. Food presentation was good. We ordered 2 bottles of wine for the table and 3 appetizers: Stuffed shrimp, oyster sampler and the Ceviche.

Amazing place with separate rooms for fine dining (more quiet with classical music) and casual dining (live music and open bar). Went here for a date night and specifically wanted oysters, reservation online was easy to make, and amazing oysters! I had the strawberry and chocolate mousse trifle, and was happy with the entire mini community around in the restaurant! I definitely recommend their oysters and dessert menu!

As soon as the secrete Father's Day menu was mentioned at this restaurant, I booked our reservation. I new Chef Keith Pardue and his right hand man again Rusty Strain was going to bring a top shelf meal; but did this menu still bring the decadence and perfection? Chef asked me to please give an honest review of tonight's dining experience. Yes sir, Chef sir! But if you have followed my reviews, you know I don't fib. I'm always honest, even though it may start a small nuclear war.
The service here is always superb

Wow. What a great find. The restaurant has two sides the bar lounge area that's a bit more casual and a white tablecloth area in a separate room. We had reservations for two and were seated in a high top bar area table. Very nice waitress who was attentive and engaging. She also had suggestions for the meal and listened to our questions. The bar area also came with a lounge jazz sax player for the Friday night entertainment. The food was spot on and the sea bass was so perfect. I don't know how they did it on such a thick piece of fish. The crab cakes feel home made as

The booths in the lounge seat 4 comfortably. Clean restrooms. Parking in rear of street side building. With COVID-19 protocols lifting, masks were no longer required when walking in building. Seating in lounge is still pretty distanced, if you're worried about tables being too close to each other.
We enjoyed Mariah as our server, the live music playing nearby, and we ordered:
(2) Filet Mignon: prepared perfectly!! The sides are equally delicious. The first filet was so good, we got one to-go!
Scallops, a fantastic appetizer. The purée the scallops rested on is everything!

I flew to Pensacola to visit a friend I haven't seen in almost two years due to the pandemic. I chose Alice's for a dinner reservation on my first night in town based on word of mouth from her friends and Yelp reviews. We were not disappointed. From the outside Alice's looks like a funeral home, no lie, it's so boring and nondescript that if you didn't know it was a fine dining restaurant paired with a more causal bar side restaurant you would never stop. Yikes! This was really terrible. Wine glasses were filthy and the bartender says "the dishwasher hasn't been cleaning right for a while now". Ok that makes it worse. No mask and he wiped his nose with the same towe he used to polish the glasses. Then he poured the wine in the dirty glasses into the cleaner ones. We ordered the buzzet meatball pizza for $17. It was really disgusting. The meatballs were like charcoal and crumbled in my hands. So I ate the middle wish consisted of just cheese on cauliflower crust. It was so dry I had to ask for marinara. I do not recommend this restaurant

10/10 amazing experience and food!
This was our first visit to Alice's and we were not disappointed! We started off with escargot and scallops for apps and each was delightfuly delicious. Our 5 y/o son was quite adventurous in eating "snails" and actually enjoyed them.
The scallops.. perfectly seared and paired with the blackberry jam. The carrot ginger purée was so flavorful and pleasing along side them, but what really surprised us was how well the snow pea microgreens paired and really elevated the scallops! Wow!

My husband and I went the day before Valentine's and were able to order off both the regular menu and Valentine's special menu. Our good and service were both excellent. The apps and fish entree were seasoned and seared perfectly, and the steak was cooked to a medium rare, as requested. Everything was incredibly flavorful. We enjoyed the elegant, yet laidback atmosphere as well. This will be a go to date night/special occasion place from now on.

My husband and I came to Alice's for a date night and it was outstanding! Even though our server lacked a bit, the food and rest of the staff more than made up for her. We had the sea scallops for appetizer and ribeye and the lamb lollipops for dinner. Chocolate creme brûlée for dessert and also a bottle of wine. Everything was delicious!
