Extremely Poor Customer Service
What started out as a positive dental experience last year ended up with poor customer service due to the lack of timely follow-up by Dr. Bloeser, also known as Dr. Max.
Or did Dr. Bloeser actually receive my messages?
The dental office office closed for several days during the snow in late December and my appointment was cancelled. I received a text from the receptionist Melissa on Sunday January 2 asking me if I wanted an appointment for 01/04/2022 and I responded "yes".
I finally received a text from Melissa who indicated that the 01/04/2022 appointment

Moved to Seattle from out of state and was nervous to find a new dentist... I did some research and decided to come to QA Hilltop Dental for my overdue cleaning and I have to say I was absolutely amazed with the professionalism and teamwork amongst the entire staff. Every staff member read my intake forms thoroughly, were responsive to my questions, & took the time to make a personal connection with me as a patient. Safe to say I found my new home dental office, THANK YOU! :-)

The dentist seemed competent. The dental assistants were typically very nice. The front desk was not welcoming when I arrived at the office and were rude over the phone.
They had issues with my tooth implant getting made correctly by the outside vendor. The dentist seemed to sand the tooth down to make it fit and they didn’t tell me if this was typical or not.
The front desk people didn’t understand how to book the appointments for the tooth implant and luckily the dentist himself fixed it in the moment, but that also resulted in me taking longer than expected and being late to work.

Dr. Max and his team are amazing. I've been on their service ever since I outgrew my pediatric dentist and I always felt taken care of. They are responsive and work with my schedule, and have helped me understand how my dental benefits work. I've had some kind of crazy oral health issues and they made a referral to an amazing surgeon who they have great communication with, so appointments go seamlessly. I had the most pleasant experience at QA Hilltop Dental yesterday. How many people can say the left their Dentist with a smile on their face? Every person that I interacted with was efficient, friendly, and took the time to walk me through what was coming next, get to know me on a personal level (you even get to choose your own music!), and educate me on the recommended treatment. I had a prior negative experience with another Dentist that I felt was taking advantage of me and recommending pricey, unnecessary treatments. I have had horrible dental experiences that has resulted in buckets of anxiety. Dr. Max assured me that I didn't have to worry. I went in the first time very apprehensive and left having had the best dental experience ever. I went back again for a cleaning and had no anxiety going in because I knew that he and his team were going to be so careful and aware of my fears. Best dentist of all time. If I ever move, I will fly back to go here.

After chipping my front tooth, Dr. Max returned my Sunday afternoon call immediately and got me into the office. He set realistic expectations for the process to replace my front veneers with crowns. From there Semhar was my hygienist for most follow-ups and was always so kind and professional! Dr. Ken was very gracious as well and fit the crowns just right. Grateful to have my smile back!

Hilltop dental has opened for routine dental care. I went in for my cleaning this week. The office has taken many steps to protect their staff and patients during this current Covid 19 pandemic. A plexiglass shield has been installed at the check in desk. No waiting in reception area. All employees were wearing layers of PPE. Payment for services was completed as I sat in the dental chair. I left through the back door feeling safe and well cared for. Go and take care of those pearly whites! Penny

Did filling and teeth whitening here. Mixed feelings. At begining the lady who helps with scheduling was rude and unprofessional. The doctor then did a good job doing filling. But I got a scar near my face when doing the whitening because the drop burned my skin by a human accident. Additionally, the whitening was not even at all and it only applies to a few ones. Overall hard to say i am satisfied with the services there.

I just wanted to update my review since I had to go back again 6/20/19 to get a wisdom tooth extracted. I've said it before and I'll say it again; Dr. Max is AMAZING. I've had problems all my life with bad teeth and it's been painful. Dr. Max knows what he's doing, no swelling, no pain and he has a great staff. Thank you all again!

Hadn't been to the dentist in like 4 years, and was getting pretty worried, and had pain between a couple of my teeth. Went to some other office on queen anne ave and they wouldn't take my Delta Dental insurance. But they said that Hilltop Dental does. So I called and made an appointment.
