After looking forward to going to La Hacienda…. I was very disappointed. A coworker who is a regular, recommended that we visit telling me the food is outstanding. I called ahead the day before and asked if they had outside seating and was told yes but the playground was closed. I had no problem with that since our party had only adults. Upon arrival today, I was told they do not have outside seating. The outside area and playground was closed. It’s fine that they have chosen to close the area. It is their establishment. Pretty good, different than anything I have ever had before. Then even had live music! Service was pretty good!

This is one of their 3 locations and it is true to the Tex mex food I came to love. I grew up around the Memorial location and was excited to see one here in Cypress where I'm at now. LOVE since the 1970's, food is still wonderful!

Margaritas are very tasty, food is NASTY though, just as the owner's rude attitude. We came all the way here to celebrate my birthday just because of the playground, since we got little kids. Well their playground is CLOSED AND OLD (no warning of this until you get here), and they get mad because "the kids are running" (we told our kids to stop running immediately). We were about to leave when he told us to get down from the balcony in a VERY rude way, even when his sign says "Kids can't go upstairs WITHOUT an adult." My granddaughter had her sweet 16 there in La Hacienda Banquet Hall, it was amazing! Beautiful, if you need anything assistance is there. A night we will remember forever!

Our first time here on our way home from Houston back to Bryan. Tx. We Loved it. The chili gravy on the enchiladas is exactly how we like ours. The atmosphere is very nice, it’s very spacious. The staff is very friendly, the place is clean! The cost was very fair! We will definitely be back!

Had lunch with my son here. We both had the lunch portion beef sizzling fajitas with guacamole and sweetened tea. It was plenty and didn’t get to finish it all. The beef was very tender. Guacamole very fresh. Wait staff did not let me ask for a drink. They were here checking on us and making sure we were good. Would definitely recommend!

I'd sum this place up as follow - decent, fair priced food with a fun atmosphere. It reminds me of a scaled down version of Casa Bonita for Mexican food. Here's why you ultimately need to go though; Fried Ice Cream! It's one of the few place around that I've found that has fried ice cream and I was pleasantly surprised with how good it was. They also have great happy hours. Enjoy!

Pleasantly surprised with live music, absolutely perfect atmosphere. Food and service was excellent. Although I am not sure how much the, although kind of cool, old cars add to curb appeal. Same with the non working fountain. Over all experience was 5 stars! I feel like they have made improvements from the last time I was there which was over a year ago. I recommend visiting them if you haven't been in awhile. I think you'll be very pleased.

Disappointing.

I was so embarrassed.
The salsa was like canned tomatoes.
Chili sauce overwhelmed every dish.
We couldn’t even finish our meal.
Even the tap water was bad.
