Not sure what I expected pulling up, but this bucks the trend of shopping center Tex mex spots. Parking was easy at lunch time, but it did get busy the longer I was there.

They have a full bar and interesting margarita flavors. I stuck with the house frozen which hit the spot. My enchiladas were fresh and not a bad deal.

Sort of out of my way, but I'd stop by again if I was in the area.

Neighbor favorite for me and my wife. Great food and drinks each and every time we visit. We did not realize how much this place has become our default restaurant until is closed for repairs & renovations. We certainly miss their food and am looking forward to their doors open again!

It's the best smoked pineapple jalapeño margarita in town. Food is great too and the place has a homey feel. We go as often as we can. It's a good thing there's a limit on the number of margaritas you can have. Sorry for the fire, can't wait for you to come back bigger and better.

Y'all, this is the first Mexican restaurant on this side of the border where I not only enjoyed their food but found it impressively authentic. Just FYI, the mixed rice and beans is a delicacy, if you will, that is generally made for special occasions. The dining room was a bit too warm but it adds to the authentic Mexican dining experience, and for us, it wasn't enough to detract from our enjoying the food and drinks. I ordered the stuffed poblano pepper and it was out of this world. I highly recommend it! We ordered the mango, pineapple, and blueberry margaritas and they were perfect! I'm so

Usually love this place and tell everyone to go there. Ordered breakfast tacos to go. Potato egg and bacon. I suppose its my fault for not checking the order before I left but there was no bacon. They were not busy at all and the food was not ready when I got there even though I came later than the 10 minutes they said it would be ready in. Came with chips and salsa which was appreciated but still disappointed it was not correct especially since they were not busy at all. only two couples were there eating.

Found this local gem here in our Cypress Creek Village neighborhood. There isn't much GOOD Mexican food out here this place is absolutely the exception ! I'm s clean with awesome decor that pays homage to Mexico's greatest legends. My wife and I ordered a Queso Flamado con Chorizo it is outstanding served with flour tortillas and pairs well with the awesome cocktails the serve from their full bar . The best part is the staff. They are attentive and very friendly. Great place to take your friends or family just not at the same time , you know your moms judgmental af! CINCO NOPALES

If the food wasn’t so good, I’d give it a three. Food was solid. Beans —refried and charro were perfection.
Rice was authentic.
I liked the beef soft taco better than the chicken soft taco.
The #6 combo—chicken verde enchilada, tamale and taco al carbon—was good. Every part had its own flavor—not a generic one sauce for everything.
Flour tortillas were delicious.
The chips and salsa—chips were very thick and salsa was overly abundant with cumin.
The watermelon margarita was not worth $3, much less $12. No booze and not sweet.
Seating was a joke—inside was a heat box, outside

Soto's continues to be a top spot for Mexican in this area -- above the norm in everything. And now to add to the list of Reasons To Eat at Soto's -- brunch and chilaquiles. Finally made it for a brunch visit (they've been serving for over a month), and our great waitress Karen made a convincing plug for the chilaquiles. Wow. Now, a warning -- this is not your calming, English muffin breakfast -- these babies pack a spicy punch. I had mine with red sauce and two eggs over easy on top, and I'll not soon forget it. They're also great with the green sauce. Totally worth a

Another suburbia disappointment! Took a risk ordering delivery from this place, since it was our first time trying it....but sadly, it'll be our last.

I ordered what would be enchiladas verdes but while it looked tasty, once I actually tasted it, that quickly dwindled. Everything was flavor-LESS. Rice had no tomatoes, or onions, just plain rice with no flavor, only color. The enchiladas tasted stale, or had this funky odor aftertaste and the chicken was just plain shredded white meat with no seasoning or flavor. You had to heavily rely on the melted cheese and sauce to get any type of flavor

This place is just not good Tex mex. Small portions and elevated pricing. Too many good places nearby to go to. I would not recommend to anyone.

If you want real Mexican food, this ISN'T your place. It's like Tex-Amex x2, but if you want to sit outside and drink delicious alcoholic drink this IS your place. I enjoyed my drinks and would be back just to relax and have a marg or 2.

Good Food. Good Service all around.

We started with some chips and salsa with water and lemon.

We ordered margaritas which were pretty tasty. My hubby and I shared some fajitas (chicken and beef) and dish called the summer steak which was very tasty, the steak was made to perfection.

We've been wanting to go back ever since. I've recommended to others and they enjoyed it also.

Met friends here for lunch as they suggested it. Said it's their new favorite Mexican restaurant to eat at.
First drove up loved how it looked on outside. Had a porch with outdoor seating. Was very charming. Went inside and was wowed by the cute decor. Music was playing. Very gracious host took us to our seats by a sunny window. Immediately someone was there giving us fresh basket of warm tortilla chips and their chunky salsa. It was a little too spicy for me but the others ate it up. The chips were very good. Thick and crunchy. As soon as the basket got low out came more tortilla chips and

Nice little homie cantina with some good tex mex food. Their margaritas are delicious and I love the red salsa. The salsa has a nice chunky texture to it with every bite you can taste the different ingredients. The queso was also amazing! The cheese enchiladas were tasty and very well cooked. The fajita meat used for the tacos was juicy and not overcooked. The only thing I didn’t care for was the rice, it was pretty bland with no flavor at all. Overall with the great environment and tasty food I would definitely recommend checking this little cypress mexican cantina out.

I love this place. Their food is great and service is great too! My favorite dish is their Carne Asada plate. It is served with grilled onions, rice and beans but it comes with only 1 tortilla!!! This sucks because you cannot enjoy that fajita steak with just 1 tortilla. Come on......at least give me 2 !

Best Avocado Margarita ever!!
Also the Chicken Taquitos are the BEST here bc the corn wrapping is so thin and crispy (not thick and overly-crunchy like most).

$1.50 lunch time margaritas. Need I say more? Soto's is a little, cozy house with a wrap around porch that faces Grant road. You'd likely never suspect Soto's to be the authentic little gem that it is. Service can be quite slow, even when it's not all that busy, but it's still worth the wait. Just don't come in a rush.

Their ingredients are fresh and plates deliver true Mexican food. You won't find much Tex-Mex here. I kinda hate to say this, but their salads are amazing. I know - who gets a salad at a Mexican restaurant? Truth is, the fresh ingredients and
