For this reason, our office meets and surpasses all OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) and CDC (Center for Disease Control) standards.
TMJ is the initialism for temporomandibular joint, which connects your lower jaw (the mandible) to your skull at the temporal bone. This joint controls many jaw functions, like chewing. If the chewing muscles or the joint itself are causing you pain you may have temporamandibular disorder, or TMD. TMD can be caused by stress, continual clenching of the jaw muscles, or teeth grinding.
Many people are afflicted with bruxism, or teeth grinding. Some people may do this consciously during the day, but it is a larger problem at night while you are asleep. Grinding your teeth can damage enamel, wear down teeth, cause jaw pain, or irritate your gums. The noise from teeth grinding can also disturb your spouse's sleep if loud enough.
Overly crowded teeth: This occurs when there is simply a lack of room within your jaw for all of your teeth to fit normally. When left untreated, overly crowded teeth can cause dental decay, an increase in chances of gum disease, and can prevent the normal function of teeth. Widely spaced teeth: This occurs with abnormal continued growth of the jaw bone.
ClearCorrect is both a substitute for Invisalign and a less costly alternative. ClearCorrect is a system of straightening teeth without the use of conventional braces. A series of clear plastic aligners are utilized to create tooth movement. Moving teeth with removable aligners is not new. However, the computer program, which can generate a series of aligners with small changes is the new part.

Dr. Pham and his entire staff are phenomenal!! He is extremely knowledgeable, patient, compassionate and caring. He fully explains each procedure and the x-rays before doing the work. Dr. Pham created a custom appliance for our teen to correct her bite. He goes above & beyond to care for your health. Dr. Pham and his staff are wonderful. Throughout my treatment I was given much insight into the process, and treated like family. The office is very clean and there's always good music playing. I spent very little time in the waiting room as my appointments were always on time. Even when I needed to change an appointment time, Valerie was always very accommodating. My smile is just what I wanted and I highly recommend Pinnacle!
