I had a great first experience booking a 30-minute appointment a few months ago, but recently had the exact opposite experience while attempting to schedule my second time. I was informed that 30 minute massages were no longer offered. I understood and kindly asked if there's any way to utilize 30 minutes for one patient and 30 minutes for the other within an hour session, and the phone operator proceeded to tell me "NO, NO, NO, NO" four times without any opportunity for me to even respond. Then they proceeded with "sorry" and hung up the phone.

Tried to schedule an appointment but was denied service for no apparent reason. Asked the staff if they are trained professionals to treat severe muscle aches. Her response is that they are just general massage therapists and that I would now need a doctors note to come in. Absolutely terrible service dealing with a potential new customer. Service rep working at 1pm Friday, Feb 5th.

I went to LA Sports Massage for my 18th birthday after jealously waiting for years to go (my Mom and big sister are regulars), and was not disappointed. I went directly after going on a very long road trip, and the spa facilities and the Swedish deep tissue massage were heavenly. It was so clean, and luxurious. I loved the ambiance, and all the amenities. It was especially nice to fall asleep in the quiet room after my massage. My massage was incredible, and in lieu of the fact it was my birthday the masseuse used special muscle relaxation lotion :]. Overall, it was a wonderful first spa experience

LA Sports Massage is my favorite place for a Massage. Come here twice a week religiously for past 8 months. All the staff is amazing and their therapists are actually knowledgeable in muscle groups and how to work problem areas. Highly recommend this place over any cookie cutter institute like Massage Envy or Heavenly Massage. This is an actual Therapeutic Massage place. They do unique therapies such as cupping on top of standard massages like deep tissue or Swedish.

I've booked appointments here 6-7 times and am always been impressed with the quality of massage therapists. However, I'm not interested in supporting a studio that pays some of their trained and licensed therapists $11 an hour while I pay $100+ tip. I understand they have a business to run and facility to maintain. I just don't want to enrich owners that charge a premium, then pay below standard market wages (poverty level by westside standards) and expect me to make up for it with my tip.
