Our appointment book is electronic which allows us to efficiently make appointments for you and your pet. Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability. Emergencies are accepted anytime our clinic is open. We have a veterinarian and personnel on duty 6 days a week who are trained and equipped to handle any urgent care your pet has.

We had Dr. Pain (hope I spelled that right.) She was kind and truly cared about my two dogs. Also noticed we had just moved to the area and recommended some boosters they might need in SATX that they didn’t need where we moved from. I appreciated that. The vet tech Sam was great also. You can tell when people care vs just their job… and they all seemed to really care at Alamo Hills Animal Hospital.

Alamo Hills I can’t thank enough for their services. Moved to Texas during the snow storm this past winter and that’s when they started care for our then 22 year old dog Taser. When we got here we thought her time had come. But with Dr Campbell and Dr Stella they were able to get our girl back in better health to get another 8 mo with her. Our lost cat was brought to this clinic, and I was emailed saying they reached out to her original adoption agency and found she was chipped to myself. The email asked if I wanted to be reunited with her or if… I would want to surrender her to the new owner- from Erica. Erica told me she would give the people who had the cat my contact information and that they would be contacting me. 4 days went by and nothing, I found out who they were through social media and reached out myself. First vet we have gone to here in San Antonio and I must say I am beyond impressed with the professionalism and outstanding manner in which they handled Ollie. Ollie is a 5 year old male weimaraner and very shy, he hates going to the vet. Dr. Jehl saw him that day, and though Ollie was not pleased about being there, he definitely liked her. We were in and out quickly (just a yearly check up and shots) and Ollie got lots of treats. Of course he was still upset with me for taking him to the vet, but they could not have handled his timid personality better!

Alamo hills animal hospital was great. I took my dog in for a possible fracture or broken leg, and the doctors assistant was very attentive and knowledgeable. The veterinarian was excellent with Ziggy and was fair about advicing me on treatment and x-rays for my dog. I am pleased with the quality of care my dog received, also highly recommend them as a pet parent. Thank you.

Gandhi and Maple just became new patients of Alamo Hills Animal Hospital in 2021. I was looking for a reasonably priced clinic with caring and supportive team members to care for my babies, especially as they… age into their senior years. If you’re a dog mom who’s particular about your babies just like me... then look no further! This clinic is the real deal. I went to Alamo Hills today for my fur baby. The girl was the rudest girl I’ve ever spoken to. She first if all told me to sit down to fill my new paperwork out. I just lost a pet on the 10th and would have appreciated a kind word. Also I asked her without getting up and going to her desk that I was told to leave from, that I was not sure what breed my dog was. She very rudely said to keep my voice down. At that point I decided she did NOT need my business and left. Very poor customer service

I really love this vet hospital Dr. Payne is Amazing. The staff are always so friendly and they're willing to help figure out what's best for your pet and what care you're able to afford. They do their best to accommodate you and your pets needs. They come out to your vehicle ask a few questions take your pet in the Vet will contact you figure out your treatment plan and then the reception team will work out payment it's super streamline and efficient.

Took our olde English bulldog there yesterday. They were nice enough to work her in. (She had caught a inner leg toenail on something, and cracked it; it was sticking way out, and really bothering her.) We had… never gone there before. They were extremely nice! Great communication, and no problem with our dog. Highly recommend! We will definitely be going back there! 😁

TOO EXPENSIVE AND DECEITFUL. Awesome staff and beautiful clinic but I was quoted an amount when I called and then I was charged almost double that. Not because they did more than what I had originally asked and got a quote for, but just because everything was more way more expensive than the estimate I got originally.
