I was charged $167 to diagnose and replace a defective spark plug. Unfortunately there’s no mention of diagnostic fees or labor rates until you get the final bill. The service on my truck required 2 10 minute test drives with a diagnostic tool plugged in, and however much time it takes to install a spark plug.
