Services
Here at Tualatin Pediatric Dentistry, we are proud to specialize in pediatric dentistry. We truly believe in starting children off right when it comes to their dental health. It is our goal to ensure that each visit goes well so that they think of the dentist's office as a good place. Our entire staff is wonderful with children, allowing them to relax while we care for their teeth.
Lisa was raised in the greater Seattle area and graduated dental school from the University of Washington. After dental school, she completed a General Practice Residency (GPR) at the University of Washington, which provided extensive training in anesthesia, oral surgery, hospital dentistry and pediatric dentistry.
At Tualatin Pediatric Dentistry, your children's smiles are important to us! We keep kids happy and healthy by focusing on providing exceptional service to promote bigger, brighter smiles. Our goal is to provide a pleasant and positive experience for both you and your children while focusing on your specific needs.
Hundreds of strains of bacteria thrive in the warm, moist environment of the mouth. Some are beneficial, but others are harmful to teeth and gums. They form a sticky film of plaque that traps molecules of food. Bacteria are living organisms. They feast on sugars and starches in the plaque, then excrete toxins that irritate gums and acids that erode important minerals in tooth enamel.
For this reason, the American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatrics, and the American Medical Association believe that topical fluoride is necessary for good oral health. Because of this, you may be wondering if your child needs fluoride treatments. Often water is enhanced with fluoride, so additional fluoride treatments are not necessary.

I just recently brought my 2 year old daughter in for her 1st dental appointment. I was very impressed with how pleasant and professional everyone was. My daughter has some sensory issues (coupled with acid reflux and issues with eating and swallowing.) Dr. Lisa (and her assistant) were fantastic! Dr. Lisa took ample time to have a comprehensive discussion with me regarding my daughter's complex health history and my personal concerns. I felt as though everyone genuinely had my daughter's best interest at heart and trust in the care that was provided. I look forward to this practice being my daughter

As a mom of four (oldest is six and a set of toddler twins), I SO appreciate the staff's willingness to go the extra mile in meeting our family's needs. The extra time and care that the staff show the kids is great: an extra hand to hold during a procedure for a nervous daughter, a follow-up call from staff or fulfilled request with a different color take-home toothbrush--our kids look forward to visits. The text message reminders are helpful.

My children have been coming to Dr. Ridgley since we moved to Oregon. We have been so happy with everyone at the office. My 2 year old daughter chipped her tooth, I took her to another dentist who wanted to put her to sleep to fix it, I went to Dr. Ridgley and she said there was no need and it took her just a couple of minutes to fix it without having to use any medication at all. My kids actually love going to the dentist, they make it fun and comfortable for them. I definitely recommend them.

This is a wonderful office! They are on time, efficient, friendly, and always willing to explain everything they are doing. They can even schedule all three of my daughters at the same time which makes it so much easier. My daughters love getting tokens after their visit! I would highly recommend this dental office!

My daughter has been going here for a few years. We love it! The staff there is amazing. My daughter was nervous and scared the first time she went and the ladies there made her feel comfortable. I thought it was great that they let my daughter touch and check out the tools before they used them on her. Now she has no problems going to the dentist. I love how the office works with me and allows me to make payments instead of paying the whole bill at once. Couldn't ask for a better dentist! I highly recommend this place!

I have been taking my son here for the last 9 years and have always had positive experiences. The staff are always professional, friendly and efficient. My son never objects when he has to go to the dentist and always leaves with a smile on his face. I really like that they work to educate the patients and the parents so problems can be avoided down the road. I would highly recommend this facility!
