Pets are more than just cats or dogs-they're our friends, companions, and family members. Caring for them is important, so they remain happy and healthy, by your side for years to come. Providing your pet with the best care possible starts by choosing a highly qualified veterinarian in Phoenix, AZ.
Services
Gurjit Sandhu, DVM, is our chief veterinarian. He has been practicing veterinary medicine since 1981 which gives him 33 years of experience in providing compassion and care for your pets. Dr. Sandhu has always loved animals. When he was a 10-year-old child, one of his pets became seriously ill. A veterinarian saved his dog's life and ever since that day, Dr. Sandhu dreamed of becoming a veterinarian so he too could save animals lives.
Long-time Price is Right host Bob Barker said it after every show for 35 years, and we'll repeat it here: "don't forget to spay and neuter your pets!" More than just helping to control the pet population, spaying or neutering your pet has a wide range of health benefits for them, including helping to lower the risk of uterine infections, prostate problems and a wide variety of cancers.
Protecting your pet means being up to date on their vaccinations and taking them in for routine checkups. Preventative medicine is the best course of action in ensuring their health for years to come. Christown Animal Hospital is pleased to be your destination for vaccinations and all other wellness assessments and examinations.
My husband and I had a 3 year old fawn, Male pit bull terrier who became acutely ill aftr playing in our area dog park. Little did we knw or realize that disease runs rampant throughout dog parks. We were urgently trying to find a place that could fit in our dog because she needed surgery for Pyometra right away.
Your pet relies on you to help keep them feeling their best, and we want you to rely on Christown Animal Hospital to deliver exemplary service when it comes time for a visit with us. From preventative medicine to routine surgeries, medication to examinations, and even grooming, we provide your pet with everything they need to be well.

Very disappointed. Called first told them i was bringing my little dog in that just eaten a sponge. Waited for almost an hour to be seen before they told us they were out of the medication they use to make dogs throw up and there was nothing they could do. No exam. nothing.

I have been here a few times. I've read the reviews other people have posted. And I'd like to comment on my perspective for, customer service, treatment, price
Customer service- on this very last visit I took my cat to see Dr power. He seemed like a good listener and I appreciated that. The vet tech was named Heather and she was also understanding and a good communicator. The front desk is a group of people who do their best but are potentially overwhelmed by the work. On this last visit, things felt very disordered between the doctor and the front desk. Things like consent forms were forgotten

I do not recommend coming here unless you want to be treated rudely and disrespectfully!! I have been coming here for years! I rescue cats and own seven cats of my own. My house is 1/2 of a block away. Now that they have”switched hands”, there is zero customer service and poor communication!!

I want to say that this place is a rare find when it comes to vet care. They are not Corporate so they have compassion and don't try to rip you off. Dr Sandhu is gentle with the animals and genuinely interested in how your pet is doing.
Stacey at the front desk was amazing and my dog Pheona was so at ease there.
Dr. Sandhu's tech was extremely patient and listened to my concerns. The rest of the staff were equally as great.
If you are looking for a fantastic vet, Dr. Sandhu is well above standard :)
Pheona is happy as a clam now!

I like how they were one of the only bets with availability and after the services , the day after they called me to check on my puppy twice … they were professional and easy to work with.
I’m more grateful than anything but if I had to be knit picky I would say they took a little longer than expected. My appt was at 10:20 and I wasn’t seen until 11:00. But beggers can’t be choosers especially when the other vets didn’t care to fit my pup in , whether he was dying or not.
Thank you guys !! I appreciate you helping my sick puppy.

Positive: Responsiveness, Value
If you need a vet that is competent, affordable, and available in the most dire emergency, this place is a solid option, they will help with everything they have. If you need your hand held and to feel good through the experience, maybe go somewhere else. They saved a life, and that's what matters.

They leave you on hold for a long time. The lady who answered the phone straight started ignoring me while I was talking to talk to whoever was near her and when I said hello a few times and she finally realized that she forgot she was in the phone with me and left me talking to myself she put me on hold again. I hear the doctor is good but so far the people at the front who should be making it pleasant and give a good first impression failed miserably.

I have rescued many cats and dogs and have brought all of them here for their health needs. Everything from spay and neuter to dental care . The staff is very knowledgeable and this location is busy, so be patient. The care for the animals has been exceptional and all at a reasonable price. I will continue to bring pets here and would recommend to anyone . Your pet will be well cared for. Keep in mind some bad reviews may actually reflect poor care by pet owners after procedures. These people are good .

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE. If I could rate 0 stars, I would. This “vet” does not care about your animal!!! I took two of my cats here. He charges out the A** for minor procedures. One of my cats got an infected paw over two months ago, NOT ONCE did he look at her paw while “examining” her, on top of that he has prescribed all of the wrong medications, it is STILL NOT HEALED 2 MONTHS LATER, despite all my efforts to keep it clean and medicated. They gave both of my cats the wrong size cones, so they were able to chew their bandages off over night thus making their wounds worse. When I called

I want to give a huge shout out to Heather. I called about a small procedure for my puppy and Heather stated that I could bring her in at anytime and did not need an appointment. When I brought her in, it was busy and Heather was able to take care of my puppy quickly and thoroughly. I was so grateful for her patience (my puppy was nervous and was not very cooperative). Heather, if you see this, THANK YOU and I owe you a Starbucks :)

If I could give this place 0 stars I would! This place is disgusting and unsanitary. I took my 10 week old puppy for his shots and the vet takes me to this room a disgusting room full of needles with blood and towels full of blood were they had treated another animal. He proceeds to tell me put him on the table so I tell him I don't think it's ok for me to put him on a table full of blood with used needles on it. He rolled his eyes goes to the back and literally pulls a rag from the floor and walks back to the room and tells me "there" with an attitude. So I told him absolutely not. You are unsanitary
