Services
Blue Cross Veterinary Clinic was established over 60 years ago across the street from our current location. In 1959, Dr. Gerald McEuen bought Blue Cross from Dr. Sol Shapira. Dr. Beth Dutton became the owner in 1984, and Dr. Brian Peter became her partner in 1994. Over the years, what was once a solo doctor practice became the 6 doctor practice of today.
We welcome cats and dogs to our clinic in Phoenix, AZ. Call us today if you have any questions or to set up an appointment. We offer a range of medical services such as surgical procedures, vaccinations, dental care and lab services. In addition to these, we also offer boarding and grooming services.

We came in today, Saturday 13 November 2021, with our 35 pound dog for an emergency visit. Before arriving we informed the personnel working that our dog was very skittish and that the vet (Dr. Ryan) had previously given us a sedative for the next time we brought her into the office. We asked if we should give our dog the sedative that was given to us and we were told not to do so. After arriving and waiting in the examination room for over 30 minutes, while dogs are barking everywhere, loud sounds are happening all around, and our dog is becoming more and more scared by the minute, the SAME EXACT

Pretty outrageous "no call no show" policy. Trying to charge me $120 in no shows even though we rescheduled and paid for services, and they are trying to say they scheduled a check up 30 days after we were there and are charging us for that. They didn't even have the correct phone # on file No email reminder or anything. They are trying to claim I was told 13 months ago of said charge policy. Unbelievable! If you are going to be this militant about your policy perhaps send an e-mail if you don't get a phone answer.

I came here because my neighbor has been a client for over 10 years, and she highly recommended this establishment. I went to Dr. Peter who she uses, and he was great!
He didn’t try to talk me into getting a bunch of tests or x-rays done (often happens everywhere I go). Instead he analyzed my cats prior records and took care of her immediately, finding a solution.
Regarding the prices I found them to be standard, Not sure why there’s complaints of higher than usual fees. I’ve been to 4 different vets since living here and Blue Cross was average in cost if not slightly less.
