Honestly, this place has just really improved over time. Really shows their dedication to serving great food. Their tamales are pretty awesome and get ordered in bulk for the holidays. So order in advance! And the dedicated regulars are a cool crowd. You come here often enough you'll run into the regulars. Glad they survived covid but still can always use more help! So come and order some tamales!

Great place. Wonderful breakfast burritos (steak and eggs), but everything is good. Owners are super nice. Don't miss out on this hidden gem.

A little Huntington native birdie chirped to me about this place and being a hungry visitor to the area, I went with it. Two words: Deliciously healthy.

Location: In an industrial section of Huntington Beach on Saturn and Gothard. Next to an Allstate office and the sign is a banner. Talk about a hidden grove!! Only native birdies know this spot.

Food: The selection is large with two separate menus for breakfast and lunch/dinner so pick the right one. I got the surf and turf burrito (chicken and shrimp) and it was hot, filling, fresh, homemade and the perfect size (UK size, not US). What&apos

First time coming here this morning and I was very impressed with their ultimate breakfast burrito. We read something about it being the best breakfast burrito in HB and they weren't lying! Made really fresh and it's very delicious. 10/10 would recommend!

Food was really good. the salsa they make is excellent. can't wait to try weekly specials.

As always, Achiote Grill did not fail me. Had the mahi-mahi platter w/ rasberry sauce & veggies. It was superb. I cannot say enough how well prepared their food is. & the taste I can never get enough of. I never thought an Iranian (Jack) & Englishman (John) could pull off a Mexican restaurant, but these 2 have nailed it, w their own personal twist!!!

I was just walking around looking for a cup of coffee cause my car was at the shop. And I found this place!! The service was great, the burrito ohhh my!! I recommend this little place the best service...I forgot about my coffee!! Enjoy the burrito.

Updated review: I did not enjoy the food and the portions were small, but the service was nice.

OMG... I heard so many good things about this place. So disgusted. I went for Chilaquiles and it was literally Costco tortilla chips with eggs on top of it. I ordered a Carnitas taco and it was literally disgusting. Absolutely no flavor. So very disappointed.

I ordered the Mexi fajita veggie bowl for takeout, which, according to their menu, includes black or pinto beans (I requested black beans), spinach/ lettuce mix, fajita mix veggies, pico de gallo and avocado sauce (it also comes with cheese, but I ordered without cheese). When I got home and opened the container, it was a pile of shredded iceberg lettuce topped with about 1/4 cup of roasted bell peppers and a handful of chips and a little side of fruit. The whole thing couldn't have been more than 100 calories and was very unsatisfying.

This place has thee most delicious breakfast burritos! They add beef chorizo in their ingredient along with whatever way they season their meat. I get the steak breakfast burrito which is a decent size served with fruit and so affordable! Totally recommend

Based by this plenty of times. Finally decided to check it out! As a person who loves breakfast burritos and friendly service. I give both a 5 out of 5

I ordered the turkey bacon wrap aka turkey bacon breakfast burrito. Extremely delicious and a lot healthier than other breakfast burritos.

The customer service was top notch as well. Extremely friendly and went above and beyond to provide me with a great first time experience

Wow, driven past this hidden YUM for years and never stopped, will be stopping often now! 5/4/21 for an early lunch, looked at the menu and had no clue as so much looked good. I asked and the man working suggested the "The outer Banks" Yellowfin Tuna In house smoked ahi, Gouda cheese, cranberries, mayo, red onion, tarragon cilantro lime sauce. Had no clue I was going to get chips and salsa, and fresh fruit on the plate also. It was a HOMERUN of goodness! Can of diet coke and bottle of water at fair prices, love it! Look forward to trying more of the menu soon.

This place was simply weird. The portion sizes were considerably small for the price, and their food is not authentic. I found a hair in my cut up fruit as well.

Omgoosh BEST PLACE EVER !! Just had their amazing crab cakes and salad!! We have been coming here for years and have NEVER been disappointed. John and Jack keep their menu's so special and delicious 😋 You must try this amazing place out you won't be disappointed 😋😉

Want to support small businesses but right off the bat, I'm disappointed. The owner who was also the cook was not wearing a mask, not wearing gloves while handling food. On top of that, he was not pleasant--getting easily irritated because he said he couldn't hear me with my mask on. It was too late to cancel my order but I asked the 2 owners shouldn't they be wearing a mask since they are handling food. Their answer was NO. One of the owner said they're not mandated to wear a mask by the Health department. And since I made the comment, owner with the beard said I have issues

Best little breakfast spot!!! This hole in the wall place is so cute and delicious breakfast I have had in a long time! Jeff the owner is so nice and makes everything from scratch, even the coffee creamer. Try the chilaquiles so much flavor! Enjoy!

We've enjoyed 2 meals here now and the food was remarkable. After reading their FB posts we tried the black cod on a Friday and this week on Tuesday, again after reading their descriptive and enticing post, we tried their dorado (mahi mahi) tacos.
I called ahead as their closing time is 6pm and wanting to swing by near closing time I was able to have them partially assemble the food, knowing that I had a bit of a wait time before the wifey would be home.
Everything worked out fabulously and this dinner was every bit as good as our first experience.

Found this place recently looking for home-made tamales. The pork and chicken tamales were amazing! The next week we came back to tey their OCs best breakfast burrito! Another great experience. Today we ventured back as this is now one of our favorite spots. The food is prepared fresh, the menu is ever changing and you feel healthy eating really extraordinary food, everytime! See ya next week felllas! This place is a great find!

$51.00 for a dozen cheese tamales what a joke! Worst part is they tried to explain it as cheese is more expensive that beef and the cheese is spread all over! Smh, I’ve been buying tamales for a long time and have Never paid $51 ! I felt bad so I bought 6 I always try to support the local guy but I guess I’ll go back to Costa Mesa where they don’t price gouge you!

By far the best food in Huntington Beach! If you want good food prepared by the owner.....this is your place!

I had one of the breakfast specials, a burrito that was served cut in half. Homemade salsa was very spicy and had a smoky flavor. Pretty big menu they serve both breakfast and lunch. 2 employees very friendly and welcoming. Prices a bit high. No AC on this rather humid September morning.

I love the creative, healthy and delicious recipes used by owners and chefs Jack and John! Always fresh ingredients, too. Love supporting local businesses and entrepreneurs

Great food at a great price, and it really is pet friendly. brought my chihuahuas with me and they were welcomed by the staff. They even brought them a water dish :).
