The Dentists On Pearl

I've been going to this dental office since they opened and I have never been disappointed. They are very thorough but never suggest anything unnecessary and I've always felt like their hearts and minds are in the right place. The dentists and technicians are really personable and clearly take good notes because every time I visit they pick up conversations right where we left off. They even listen when I talk about some dental issue I read about or share my self-diagnosis theory. If you want to feel like your dentist (and their staff) is a friend, this is the office for you.

We have been using The Dentists on Pearl for 6 years. They are all like family. The quality of care is excellent and the entire staff goes out of their way to make the experience a positive one, even if there is some painful work to be done!

The professional care at D.O.P. and attention to dental procedures ranks highly, which does not include their mistakes, at least as pertains to faulty dental appliances. When it comes to their office staff, methods of treating patients the practice fails completely. Their spare office is admittedly chic, part of trendy South Pearl Street - with its restaurants, upscale studios, and all, but their respect and deference to paying patients is definitely not their main focus. I came to Dentists on Pearl after a bad experience at another Dentist and am so glad I did! I have seen both Dr. Wright and Dr. Aleman and had a great experience with both. Both explained in detail what they were going to be doing and were both really funny, too!

I have also had an amazing experience with their office manager, Liz. She worked with me with my insurance and made sure that I was paying as little as possible - so thankful for her help and kindness!

The care I received was fine. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I am giving three out of five stars because there was no upfront discussion in terms of additional services not covered by my insurance. I received a bill for over $100 and when I called to ask what the charges were for, I was told vaguely they were services not covered by my insurance. Of course , I figured that. When I asked for an accounting of the exact procedures, I was simply told I had a "deep cleaning." There was no menu of services offered or explanation of the range of cleaning services. I have been coming here for almost 8 years and can not recommend them enough! Everyone that I have ever come in contact with here have been incredibly nice, thoughtful, knowledgeable, caring and respectful. Ignore the one star reviews as they are all insurance related and it’s no fault of Dentists on Pearl if people are unaware of their own insurances “dos and don’ts”. They take care of their clients and do not try to “sell” or “rip you off”. Ludicrous. I’d give them 6 stars if I could.

Amy is the most delightful person who's ever stuck her hands in my mouth. If I could I'd come in for a weekly cleaning. No one really looks forward to dental appointments. When I am scheduled to come in though, I have the comfort of knowing what a warm and experienced crew I'll be greeted by. Dentists on Pearl is my dental office for life.

I had a scheduled cleaning today. I wish I had gotten the name of my hygienist because she was wonderful, professional, and friendly. Even with all of the COVID-19 restrictions Dentists on Pearl had the entire visit and experience organized perfectly. Separate entrance/exits, sanitizer everywhere, exact timing of appointments and movement throughout the office just to name a few. They are a great example of how a business can adapt quickly and efficiently during a crisis to provide a fantastic service. Five stars isn't enough.

The Dentists in Pearl are amazing! The office is cute and clean (and sometimes they have an office dog wandering around to say hey). They're very kind and accommodating and like to engage with their clients with conversation. I was able to learn a lot and highly encourage anyone to come to this all women operated clinic.

I had a fantastic experience at Dentists on Pearl. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, kind, and professional. My usual dread of the dentist is completely alleviated at The Dentists on Pearl. The office is clean and the people who work there go way above and beyond to make sure that you are comfortable and well taken care of. I've been scouring yelp for a new dentist and I finally found a really great office that accepts my insurance (delta dental). They were able to get me in one day after I called so that was super convenient. Since I was a new patient I had to stay for two hours (you can break it up) for x-rays, consultation with the dentist and then finally the cleaning.

Finding a reliable and well trained dentist is so hard now days. These ladies are amazing. They are punctual and very accommodating to busy schedules. Our entire family now goes here. I have had my teeth cleaned and even had a crack tooth fixed here. Every experience has been great, well as great as going to a dentist can be.

Dr. Wright and this practice is fantastic! I dealt with TMJ issues for a couple of years and saw several dentists but it was not until I found Dr. Wright that I received a treatment plan that actually worked.

I was having a ton of jaw pain from clenching at night and could not get my regular dentist to even answer my call. I called the Dentists and they got me in 2 days later! I was scanned for a night guard (super cool high tech scanning machine instead of the nasty molds) and had it in hand 2 weeks later. The office is beautiful, the assistants are all sweet and knowledgable, and the doctor I saw spent a good deal of time with me and really listened. Wish I had gone here sooner!

I live in Boston but refuse to find a new dentist out here because Dr. Wright & Dr. Stratil are awesome. This practice really impressed me. First, the actual dentist does a new patient intake where she reviews your every tooth and every fascinating bit of your dental record. Yes, I chipped my front tooth in college drinking from a wine jug. Yes I had braces. I think they used laughing gas when they extracted my wisdom teeth.

I visited again this morning and was introduced to a new hygienist, Megan. She was so nice and gentle and we had a great conversation. I really love this office; everyone is welcoming and happy. I suppose my only complaint is the music, but I'm sure there are more people who like John Mayer than hate him.

I have a consultation for braces in two weeks. I'm excited to meet Dr. Wright and to learn more about my options.
