This place is BY FAR the WORST mechanic I've ever step foot in and I work at a driving school so I go to a lot of mechanics... often. I don't even know where to start with these guys and to be honest I only ever went here because its right next to the Hamden DMV (state inspection center for vehicles). I had just taken one of my schools cars and it failed due to needing to replaced the front right tie rod so I quickly drove down the street in the hopes that this place would be able to fix it so I wouldn't need to make the hour drive to inspect the same car again. I brought my car to Accurate Auto Repair when the exhaust split at a joint. I'd never been there before but found it on Google. I was in a real jam: Murphy's Law -- I had a job interview two hours away and to get there in time I needed to leave within an hour. I was incredibly lucky to bring it here. The owner, Bill, immediately sussed out the situation and came up with a plan. He cleared out his schedule and put two employees on it. Best yet, he worked -- at his suggestion -- to find the most affordable remedy. I'm pretty sure he saved me several hundred dollars. How often does that happen? I
