Washington Heights Veterinary Clinic was founded in 2009 by Dr. Tracy McAdoo and Dr. Lynda Case. Their goal in starting Washington Heights was, first and foremost, to provide the best possible care for their patients. They quickly realized that one of the best ways to care for their patients was to also care for the pet owners.

Washington Heights Veterinary Clinic offers a full pharmacy for your convenience. Meaning, should your pet be prescribed a medication during their visit, it will likely be sent home with you at that time. Medications not regularly carried in our pharmacy may be special ordered, offered through our online pharmacy, or compounded by BCP Veterinary Pharmacy.

I have had 4 encounters with this clinic and every single one has been a poor experience. I started a journey to have my dogs teeth cleaned. I knew it was going to take a few visits and be an expensive process, but this is ridiculous. One they wouldn't do labs on him during the first visit because they want him sedated, I understood that portion,. The fees for the dental were printed out on a paper and the biggest fee was in a lighter ink than every other fee. This made it seem like it wasn't an actually fee and something that would be added to the bill if needed, so I was shocked when I had to

I’ve been bringing my dog here for the past 5 years and I’ve always been pleased with the service of the all of the staff. Recently, I’ve been blown away with the amount of support from this staff in during a tough situation.
When dog got a really sick with a pretty unpredictable illness, the staff went above and beyond to help coordinate with me, communicate expectations and work the the hospital my dog had been at. I've had nothing but positive experiences bringing my dog here for several years, but what prompted me to write this review is the amazing care we've gotten in the last few weeks.
My dog has been having issues that are not emergencies but have been difficult to manage. I've been able to drop off my dog for same-day appointments, received follow up phone calls to see how he's doing, adjusted medication and sent photos via email, and all during the busy holiday season.
It gives me such peace of mind to know that we go to such an organized, responsive and friendly vet clinic. Highly, highly recommend

I evacuated to Houston from Hurricane Ida and forgot my dog’s medicine. The staff could not have been kinder, getting me an appointment quickly. Thank you to the awesome staff and Dr. Wilkinson for being a source of calm during a stressful time. Even though we will only be here a short amount of time, they were so generous with their time when reviewing her records, performing the exam, and talking with me. Love the people at the babies clinic specially our doctor Case since day one she’s been very attentive for our babies needs, sometimes is hard to catch an appointment but is kinda your fault when you missed the first one 😂 super happy to have the staff at WHVC taking care of my kids !! Strongly recommend them !!

I was put on hold every single time I would call and for an average of 15 minutes each time.
They were the first and only vet I used for my dog while I lived in Houston. I noticed my dog would get very agitated when he had to go to the vet. I thought it was normal since it was the vet.
However, I just found out from my new vet (I moved to a new state) that these people would muzzle my dog during exams. I was never informed of this. Maybe I would be less angry had they told me. But the fact that they didn’t, and my dog has never bit anyone ever. This latest news is the reason these people get

We've been using this vet for years now and they've been amazing! My husband found them from the great reviews online. I had been going all the way to The Woodlands to the vet I had used for years previously. That drive became too much for the kitties though. I was reluctant to switch, like when you find the right doctor for yourself, you make the drive if you have to. But I'm so happy we did switch. They are all so great hear and really care about your fur baby.
