Devon Pediatric Dentistry
At Devon Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Robert Raymond, Dr. Megan Magargal and our team provide exceptional care for children, teens, and those with special needs. We focus on preventive approaches for your child's dental needs, and offer a fun, warm, and relaxed atmosphere. Our office is not high-volume.

Instead, you and your child will have plenty of time with Dr. Raymond or Dr. Magargal. They are happy to answer your questions, talk about your child's unique oral health, and offer guidance on home dental hygiene. You'll be impressed with our personal, individualized approach in caring for your child.
Services
Our team at Devon Pediatric Dentistry is dedicated to the health and happiness of your little one! Our dental hygienists and assistants take great pride in giving each patient gentle, individualized care during regular checkups and cleanings. In addition to polishing your child's teeth, our hygienists and assistants will also give your child instructions on how to brush and floss in an easy to understand manner.
Dr. Megan is a board certified pediatric dentist who grew up in Western Pennsylvania, not far from Dr. Rob's hometown. She attended Washington and Jefferson College and then Kornberg School of Dentistry (Temple University) for her dental degree. Dr. Megan then completed her pediatric dental residency at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children in Philadelphia.
Our practice is committed to providing you and your family with safe, gentle, high-quality dental care. We understand that your child may feel anxious about visiting the dentist. We are sensitive to children's needs and it is our goal to make your child feel comfortable visiting our practice while providing the best care possible.
The cost of treatment may vary depending on your child's individual needs and treatment plan. We will discuss with you the cost of treatment and each of your available payment plan options before your child begins treatment, so that you can make the best choice for your child and your family. Your child's smile can last forever, and we want to make it as easy as possible to receive the best dental care whenever needed.
Below are common questions and our answers about the best way to care for children's teeth. We recommend that you make an appointment to see the dentist as soon as your child gets their first tooth. The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends that children be seen by six months after their first tooth erupts, or at one year of age, whichever comes first.

Devon Pediatric Dentistry made my son's (who
has anxiety) first visit amazing! From checking
in, to getting X-rays to Dr. Megan Magarga checking and cleaning his teeth. Even checking
out was a great experience. My son left with a
smile and looking forward to seeing Dr. Megan
in 6 months. It was very positive experience!

0 Stars. They wouldn’t sign my sons dental form to start elementary school until I returned and spent over $1,000 (220 out of pocket and insurance for rest) on unnecessary dental work (said my son had “pre-cavities” that needed to be ground and filled). I didnt have time to find a new dentist so I agreed unfortunately. Recently they called for my son’s 6 month follow up appt and a few days after telling them we weren’t going back I received an outstanding bill in the mail for $1.00 or I’d be sent to collections!!!! Horrible practice.

We love Devon pediatric dentistry! From the front desk to the assistants/hygienists- amazing. Very nice. Can't say enough about Dr. Raymond. Our son had fillings done yesterday and he called last night to make sure he was doing ok. Love it! Highly recommend.

My son has been going to Dr. Raymond for years and I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Raymond and the practice. As a physician and a parent I fully trust Dr. Raymond's judgement. As far as a recent post regarding 'unnecessary' treatment, if they didn't seek a second opinion before the work was done how would they know the treatment was unnecessary?
