Highly recommended! Jake, the owner, is an excellent coach and makes sure each person is getting the right level of challenge in the workout. The other coaches are great as well. The class schedule is well organized. During the uncertainty of Covid, Jake has taken great efforts to manage a mix of online and in person classes to make sure the clients have options. The culture is very positive and supportive.

Since joining CrossFit REP I have been able to reach my goals and surpass them with ease. I often surprise myself with how strong I have gotten since becoming a member a short 6 months ago. I've also gained knowledge in technical lifts and learning how to lift safely/properly.
The coaches create an atmosphere that promotes self confidence within all members. They've mastered removing the fear/intimidation that some may approach CrossFit with, while maintaining the true essence of the CrossFit regimen .

I've been a member since 2014 and have always appreciated the quality of coaching and programming. Jake (the owner) keeps up with the science of strength and conditioning and translates it to his programming, which emphasizes the safety of everyone training at the gym. I can't recommend REP highly enough.

This review is long overdue, but here it is:
I started doing Crossfit for the first time at CrossFit REP since ~October 2019, after having transitioned through various other programs, such as Orange Theory Fitness, HEAT Bootcamp, F45, etc. All of these places have been instrumental in developing my physique/fitness capacity. However, it wasn't until a joined this place that I started gaining muscle... like, 10lbs of muscle, and improved my posture/exercises exponentially.
Sidenote: during these times of crises the gym has been closed. However, I have been able to maintain my level because

Great experience! I was a member here for about a year and these guys are great. Coaches here will ensure you get a good workout and help you if you are new to Crossfit.
This box provides an amazing training plan, and a very helpful nutrition consulting which will allow you to get your goals. You will definitely notice how your strength, skills and endurance keep increase day by day.

I appreciate how the owner (Jake) continues to invest in the gym to provide additional services to members. Adding A/C for those hot Texas summer days, a new shower and changing room for those on the run, and updating equipment for additional movements. Erin, Lindsey, and Jake are excellent coaches who provide encouragement to help me progress my conditioning. I have been a member for 3.5 years and have found my fitness home!

Ask me 3 years ago if I'd be doing Crossfit and I would've told you...HA!!! LOL. No way, Jose. I'd always been under the impression that Crossfit was for mega ripped athlete types who eat only Paleo, and that's not me. So when my significant other discovered Crossfit REP's solid online reviews in 2017, I decided to give it a try with him. Now, almost 2 years later, there is a huge difference in my strength and endurance.

I'm a newer member at CrossFit rep, but everyone has been so welcoming and encouraging that it feels like I've been a member for ages. The coaching is fantastic. The support and encouragement I get from Lindsey and Erin I could not be more grateful for. They have helped fix my form, helped me add weight to my PRs, and encouraged me in the middle of workouts. Jake has been really great from the second I walked into Rep's doors. You can tell how much he truly loves this gym and it's members. He has poured so much into the Rep community. It truly feels like a family when you walk

I have been a member since this gym opened in 2012, and it's only gotten better over time. The coaches are dedicated to lifelong learning and making our workouts challenging but safe (and fun!) Even when I've had injuries and limitations, Coach Jake and Lindsey have been excellent at modifying exercises for me. They're great at working with members to meet their own individual goals, whether you want to compete professionally or just get in a good sweat.

I was in Austin for a few days for work and I found Crossfit Rep on Google. It was right next to my hotel as I was staying in the Domain area and I figured I would drop in. The drop-in fee was $20 and was very reasonable for the quality of the workout. Also, you can register online which makes the whole process very smooth.
As for the class, coach Erin was so welcoming and the rest of the folks there could not have been nicer! It was a really hot day, but we split the workout between inside and outside to mix it up. I definitely plan on dropping in if I found myself back in Austin for work!

I was always really intimidated by CrossFit. I never thought I'd "fit in" or be "strong enough" to do it! I had built it up to be this big, scary thing that it's not.
After hubby started going to CrossFit Rep for a few months and seeing great results, I was finally persuaded to give it a try. So glad I did!

I was afraid to try Crossfit because I was sure i wouldn't like it, fit in or be able to keep up. But i was looking for something completely different to just jumpstart getting into a workout routine again and decided to find a place to join.

Joining Crossfit Rep has allowed me to discover my physical and mental capabilities of persevering and has shown me how strong I truly am. It's only been 9 short months and joining crossfit has transformed me not only externally but internally.

What a fantastic Box!! I drop in a few places around the country but and certainly most places are friendly, but Rep is one of the friendliest. Jason was an extremely attentive and positive coach that made sure to make me feel at home. The members were all supportive and welcoming. Jake's communication and positive attitude while setting up the drop in was off the charts exceptional, the WOD was well thought out, tough but incredibly satisfying afterwards. I'm hoping to get back to Austin soon to drop in again, thanks y'all.

I was in Austin last week for work, and was looking around for a local affiliate that was close to my office. I noticed Crossfit REP was close to the Domain, and dropped in after work on Tuesday. I was immediately welcomed to the gym by Tim, one of the coaches, who pointed me to Jake, the owner of the gym. I had emailed Jake about dropping in, and he responded almost immediately about space being available to jump in for a workout. I was in Austin, Tx for many months for a work assignment and was doing research on several crossfit gyms in the area. I tried a few different gyms in the area and knew immediately I was going to sign up for Crossfit Rep after my first session. All of the coaches and owner are amazing people and most importantly very knowledgeable. They take the time to understand your capabilities as an athlete and help you accomplish what you are looking to get out of jointing crossfit. I highly recommend this gym!

I have Yelp to thank for helping me find the best box in Austin, TX. Being new to the area, I didn't know anyone, so I had to rely on Yelp to find my "second home". I had been going to the same box in LA for the past 3 years, so I wanted a gym as close to the one I was used to. They are very knowledgeable about form and fitness. All of the trainers have been amazing. They make sure the classes are small enough so they can answer questions or point out the proper form.
Specifically, Jake has helped me with targeted stretching(much needed!) and Tim has been able to point out what I can improve on and I've been able to quickly learn the proper technique.

Need to clarify one thing - Didn't work out here but not going back either.
I made two visits and was rescheduled everytime. There was some mix up with other person with same name that's what they said but I don't know what happened. I ended up not going again - I value my time a lot.
If you don't want new members or if you want members of particular category (fitness level, race etc.), please mention it on your website so that people would not waste their time.

I was hesitant on if I wanted to join a crossfit gym at first. I have done the workouts in the past and always just stuck with the normal everyday gym. I took a chance and so glad I did! The team here is more of a family more than anything. Jake and Tim took me in quick and started day one pushing me to my limits. It has been a slow start and changes will come but know they will with the help from the team. Excited to see what 2016 has to offer.

This is the first Crossfit gym I have joined, and it's true what they say .. IT'S ADDICTING!! When i share my interest in checking out a CF gym people warned me about how other Crossfit gyms seem to not care about the individual's safety and just see you as a $$, but I definitely don't get that here at Crossfit Rep. The coaches are very thorough with explaining the technique behind whatever workout we are preforming. They are patient , encouraging and take their time breaking down the workout for you to ensure the form is correct. I've trained with coach Jake and Tim,

I love this gym. And I never thought I would love any gym (although I still haven't given into the "box" lingo). I have been doing CrossFit at CrossFit REP for over a year now, and I couldn't imagine going anywhere else.
The trainers are awesome. They are knowledgeable and encouraging. They push you hard, but also are aware of your limits. I never feel like I am in danger of hurting myself or doing something that I can't handle, because they focus on form and safety and making sure you understand what move you are supposed to be doing. And you know they are only pushing

This a great Crossfit gym with two coaches that genuinely care about their members. There are no judgments there so it's a great place to go regardless of your athletic level. The workouts are challenging and they keep their website up to date with all the information you will need.
I have been a crossfitter for years and have found this gym to be professional, clean, accepting, and most importantly fun!
