This place is the best, most honest, reliable, and personable car shop I have ever experienced. Every single time I have brought my car here, no matter the issue, I have received the best care. I can always count on Davis Tire Pros to give me a real estimate, and not overcharge me like other car shops. I had a really weird noise coming from my car and the mechanics spent hours trying to find the noise. They eventually found where the noise was coming from, and then didn't even charge me! 0$! I live an hour away for school however anytime something is wrong with my car I drive to Davis because

They bent my key and didn’t tell me, I found out after getting home, because the car with given back to me with the key in ignition. Also my car has wider wheels in the back and they messed it up by putting 1 wider rear wheel in front and 1 skinny wheel in the rear. I had wobbling on the highway and checked, swapped them back and that fixed the issue. 1 star because i told them the wheels need to be in a specific way. And loss of integrity.

30$ for a patch. Had to come back a week later for another puncture on the same wheel and got charged another 30$. Not a good price when a lot of tire places do this for 10$ or FREE. Do not recommend going here if you have other options around.
I was told the patches they made on my car are some of the worst ever seen, and definetevely not worth $30. Don't know if this is true or not. So far they have kept up.

Got a "check tire" message shortly after I pumped my tires, so I knew something was wrong. I came to Davis Tire Pros on a Saturday afternoon, and they were able to help me. They found a nail in my tire and patched it up within an hour. They were super helpful and kind, and prices were very fair! I have been blatantly scammed by some other tire shops in the area, but Davis Tire Pros only charged me $30 for the repair. I would definitely come back!

I stopped in (June 2021) to have my tires checked as the tire sensor kept showing odd readings.
The young guy you keep reading about on here that does a great job, Aaron, checked our tires and adjusted everything to specs. No more crazy readings!
He even answered questions we had about our car and was extremely friendly!
This is our new favorite tire store. (And we live in Sacramento!)

Excellent and quality service. They are very professional and kind. I feel all staff become now my friends. Not only tires but also major routine maintenance jobs were well done by them every time. I replaced old drive belts with new ones with good price and short time on Saturday morning. I just walked in and dropped my car today. They finished all jobs in a few hours. Thank you, Davis Tires Pro.

Went in last Friday for oil change around 11am they said would be done around a hour. I went to lunch came back 2 hours later they hadn't even touched car. I asked if my car wAs ready they said hadn't even touched it. I asked for my keys and I left. Don't waste your time looks I did with this place..

First class service! Got a flat tire on our way to Davis from San Ramon with my two daughters for taekwondo competition at UC Davis campus. Great experience with owner Ted. Not only he came and met me at the campus and pick up the tire he also send drivers back-and-forth to make sure my car gets repaired before we head back down south. Highly recommend!

I own an extremely modded car and would only take my car to the best quality shops and owner Ted has done just that, provided an exceptional shop with amazing employees and technicians who know exactly what they are doing, and do what they do with a smile. My tire pressure gauge came on in my car and having a long commute home, I stopped here to check for a possible slow leak.
The technician informed me that one of my tires was over inflated and that can cause the sensor to activate. He properly inflated my tires to the correct pressure and told me there would be no charge for the service.
Due to their customer service, I will definitely be coming back here when it's time for new tires.

I live in Sacramento, but got a flat tire in Davis. I drove to this place because I didn't want to drive too far on my spare. When I talked to the service person, instead of just selling me a tire--or two--he asked if I had purchased it at a Big O Tire store. When I told him I had, he let me know that it would still be under warranty and could be replaced for the cost of labor. He made sure the air pressure was good in my spare and other three tires, and I drove back to Sacramento and saved the cost of a new tire! If I ever need anything else, I will definitely be making the drive!

The employees at Davis Tire Pros are very friendly and helpful and their tires are well priced for Davis. They also have mechanics that can do most car repairs.
The owners are a local family not a chain or a big box store. I love supporting local small business owners.
