Tucson Racquet & Fitness Club
To all staff and members, I just spent a week at your club as a guest of my sister. I am writing to commend your club for its fun and friendly atmosphere. Everyone was terrific, from Nelson the tennis pro, to Dave the drop-in coordinator, to the servers in the restaurant, and everybody in-between. The members are also friendly and I was made to feel right at home.
Services
Included on our 20 acres by the river are: 30 lighted tennis courts, 12 lighted pickleball courts, 11 indoor racquetball/handball courts, aerobics/yoga and exercise classes throughout the day, two 75' junior Olympic heated pools, basketball & volleyball courts, fully equipped weight room, cardiovascular machines, 2 Jacuzzis, steam room and sauna.
Maintain social distance at all times (no high fives, shaking hands nor the ever popular chest bump). If a ball from another court enters your court, return the ball without touching it with your hands. The Tucson Racquet and Fitness Club, over the past fifty years, has offered the finest in quality tennis instruction, clinics, leagues, and camps in a relaxed family setting.
Keeping fit should be one of your most important goals in life. The benefits physical fitness are too numerous to list here but one of the most important is self-confidence. If you feel "comfortable in your own skin", and like the way you look and feel, the rest of life's challenges will seem just a bit easier to tackle.
The Tucson Racquet & Fitness Club Summer Camp is proud to have served the Southern Arizona community and it's youth for over 40 years. Our professional staff has set the highest standards by which all other programs in the Southwest are measured. Please remember, we are not just a Summer Camp! We offer Spring Break Camp, Fall Break Camp, and Holiday Camp.
The Tucson Racquet and Fitness Club is on the south side of the Rillito River. The only way to reach TRFC is to approach us north bound on Country Club. Simply put, take Country Club Rd from anywhere in the city and go north until you are here!

Went to the restaurant and they started serving people who came in after us. Never even gave us a menu and completely ignored us the whole time. We waited for about an hour just to get menu’s.

Walkways were full of chewing gum litter. Tennis courts were full of stress cracks from being built on a desert wash. And the Saturday drop in crowd was full of fuddy duddy old men trying to get a little sun and vitamin D but really too frail to play and with a beginner's skillset. DEFINITELY, NOT for avid tennis players.Perhaps their membership service offers more but I'm not willing to pay $100/month for a few sets of doubles. Reffkin's drop in program Sunday and Wednesday has better competition for the drop in price.

Great place wonderful gym outstanding food in the restaurant. Lacking handicap access to the second floor. The shower room has adjustable bath seat and one bigger roller in shower stall. All of the machines are on the second floor. The bottom floor has easy access and lots of classes: yoga silver sneakers ECT very relaxing place. Fun to just sit and watch the people too! A little escape Oasis in the desert.

Pool needs more careful cleaning. City public pools are cleaner. Too many people use the pool for the inadequate cleaning effort. No one is asked to shower. Often there is an oil slick. Requests to clean fall on deaf ears.

Pool was amazing didn't try anything else only came for a swim. It does get busy at times with little ones but at one point it was jus me and the lady. The review is just for the swimming area I didn't get a chance to check out the other fun things but will in time.

This is, and has been, best summer experience for 5-14. Best coaches in Tucson!! They love kids and their sport! They aren’t grumpy babysitters.
The lunches are amazing too.
Great TKD program year round.

I have worked as a professional DJ for many years and have participated in many various events at the Tucson Racquet & Fitness Club. The staff is excellent, the facilities are excellent, maintenance is always very bust and do a stellar job at keeping thing clean and orderly. However, the very best thing about this location is, "The People." Not stuffy arrogant or rude just nice good people that are interesting, have well adjusted families and participate in a healthy mix of recreation, relaxation and fun in the sun. It is not just for tennis, there is so much going on...
