Revolution Motor Works is owned and operated by Jorge Gilligan and Jason Garrish. We are a local Finksburg family owned business. We are dealership trained Technicians with a combined thirty plus years experience. We completed many hours of technical training classes to improve our technical skills.
At Revolution Motor Works in Finksburg, Maryland, we believe that the more you know about how to take care of your car, the better off you will be and the more money you will save. Finksburg can get HOT! If your car's air conditioning isn't working correctly, it can make spring, summer, and fall almost unbearable to drive in! But don't sweat it! Revolution Motor Works, located right off Route 140 in Finksburg, MD, is equipped with some of the best ASE certified mechanics in the entire state of Maryland and the most up-to-date diagnostic tools on the market.
Oil changes are one of those things that everyone knows they must do but doesn't like to do, right? Why? We've found that people in the Finksburg area (and all of the East Coast, really) don't love getting their oil changed first and foremost because of the time it takes! The second reason people don't like getting their oil changed is that they are afraid they will get ripped off.

I needed to hydraulic press a Polaris Ranger wheel bearing into a wheel carrier assembly and install the retainer ring. This action requires a machine press to really do it right.

She listened to my request and knew exactly what to do - get a tech who could understand what I was talking about. Intelligence isn't always about knowing the answer. Many times it's knowing when you don't know the answer - Michaela has this ability.

I will gladly return to this business. My dealer package for service had expired and I was searching for a new option. The communication was excellent. I needed routine service and then a check engine light came on. They did a thorough inspection of my car and did not try to “oversell” the needs of my vehicle. The follow up has been impressive as well. They have earned a customer.

Soo I have nothing but great things to say about this company. 🙌 I was referred by another shop because they specialize in Audi vehicles!! I was skeptical but after the initial conversation they quoted me with a price of $800-$900 and the issue came in at $740, the audi dealership wanted to charge me for the SAME thing $2500 this company was a God sent and fixed my issue and they gave me back $40 to apply to a future service NO ONE does this. Go there for all your needs you will not be disappointed!!

RMW is an excellent alternative to the outrageous costs of a dealership. I appreciate their honesty and transparency in the costs of repairs. They also don’t attempt to sell you on replacing an entire component, just the part that’s malfunctioning.

Resident of Finksburg, who has used several shops in the area over the years to service my 335 BMW convertible and Audi A-6. I recently switched 2 years ago to RMW. They exhibit honesty, integrity, professionalism and are competitively priced. Very knowledgeable on the cars they service. Very pleased with their service, always deliver a finished product onetime. Cool waiting area. They also performed MD state inspections, I recently sold my A-6 and purchased a Truck I highly recommend them, their service advisors are Great !

RMW was able to get me in for a tire replacement on my Tesla Model 3. There are very few shops around that are equipped and willing to work on Teslas. It only took about an hour and a half and everyone there was so nice. They did a great job from start to finish. I received appointment reminders and follow up after the work was done to make sure things are ok. I highly recommend the folks at RMW.
