Dr. James is from Springfield, Ill. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville, Ill and went on to earn his DMD from Southern Illinois University in Alton, Ill. Dr. Bone is from Boynton Beach, FL. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Florida and went on to earn her DMD from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Dental implants are an excellent solution for those who have lost a tooth or teeth as a result of an injury, periodontal disease, or any other reason. The implant serves as an artificial tooth root that is placed into the jaw which holds a bridge or replacement tooth. Candidates for dental implants must have sufficient bone in their jaw in order to provide support to the implant.
The use of digital x-rays and digital cameras has benefited the dental industry tremendously. One of the biggest aversions to x-rays has always been the radiation exposure linked to digital imaging and x-rays. However, digital dental x-rays emit a small amount of radiation. The ability to take pictures of bones, soft tissues, and teeth is paramount to adequate dental care.

I recently had some dental work started at another local office, which I would describe as none other than a dent-all chop shop. Between the botched work and the grossly unprofessional staff at that office, I decided it was necessary to find a new dentist. Dr James and his staff have been nothing short of amazing since day one. He happily agreed to take over my case and promptly and professionally exceeded my expectations with his results. He did much more than repair my botched work. He gave me my smile back! His office manager is pretty awesome as well. She ensured all of my visits went as planned

I had my first appointment today. I left my previous dentist of 3 years because I wanted a dental office that felt like they weren't going to upsell you on every little thing. The wait time was minimal, everyone there is very friendly and most of all, the staff has longevity there. That tells me that they are happy with the practice and want to be there. That gives me the level of comfort I was searching for in a dental team.

I normally despise going to the dentist but James Family Dentistry make it very pleasant. They are very efficient and thorough in their cleanings and I’ve never had discomfort or pain with any of my appointments. They always make sure to check in with you during any cleanings or procedures and you feel like they really care, because they do. Definitely the best dental care I’ve ever had.

Dr. James is very patient, informs you of everything he will be doing for you, takes time to explain everything to you, and you never have the feeling the office is trying to rush you out.
I have a lot of anxiety about going to the dentist. Have had a lot of bad experiences with dentists in past and feel very uncomfortable about going to any dentist.
I feel very comfortable going to Dr James and know he has my best interest for me.
I would recommend Dr James and his staff to anyone seeking a dentist.

My husband and I have been going to Dr. James for many years.
Our previous dentist kept trying to upsell us on different cosmetic procedures. They were not necessary, just cosmetic. We both have healthy teeth.

I’ve been with Dr. James Family ever since they took over the previous practitioner. The office staff is compassionate and well qualified to handle all my dental issues. Dr. James takes the time to go over your x-rays and aggressively address the issues that will arise if proper maintenance and procedures are not taken care of. I highly recommend this office for all your dental concerns.

I am Canadian and was spending some time in Florida. I have had the same dentist for 20 years in Canada and like what I like! I lost a filling so needed care during my stay. I liked that they were a husband and wife team with kids and already had some positive reviews. The staff was friendly and he fixed my filling quickly and painlessly with no need for freezing in my case and I was thrilled to put it behind me and move on with my vacation. I had an X-ray, a quick exam and the filling and it cost $375 usd and was prepared for higher. Hopefully my visa or private insurance covers it!
