My Huong Kitchen is a Vietnamese restaurant located in Minneapolis, MN that is perfect for the whole family. We strive to serve our customers only the very best that Vietnamese cuisine has to offer. Set in a warm and friendly atmosphere, we offer friendly and attentive customer service, great prices, and - of course - delicious and authentic cuisine.
We're the small-but-mighty shop behind Shuang Hur, across the parking lot from El Mariachi, and across the street from Quang! We never compromise on authentic flavor and rich taste. Our quality is evident in the freshness of our ingredients and the hard-working culinary efforts of our kitchen, which you are sure to notice right when you take the first bite.

"Eat Street" has a rich history of providing South Minneapolis with tasty and diverse provisions for quite some time now, and while much of it nowadays has been corrupted by 99% of the residents who live in Uptown/Whittier and fantasize a sort of faux bohemian alt lifestyle they themselves pushed out of the neighborhood years ago, there are still pockets of delicious and affordable food buried deep within.
My Huong is without a doubt one of these staples. I do not know what Huong means, but I always think about how My Huong rhymes with My Mom, and how both are institutions of deep, unconditional

The service was fast and friendly. The food was fresh and delicious. I loved the mock duck spring rolls, some of the best spring rolls I've ever had. The Vegetarian noodle soup was full of flavor, noodles, & fresh vegetables. My friend had the Pho Special and the egg rolls , she said they were delicious. We both had the Taro smoothie, definitely have one for yourself, you won't regret it. I would definitely come back again!

My Huong is a small family operated restaurant. They can be easy to miss when you consider they're across the street from Quang's. I think Quang's get so much traffic because they have a huge restaurant and parking lot, but don't pass up on this little gem across the street.
The owner's are so nice and really try to get to know all their customers. I'll occasionally get something extra without even asking because they treat you like fam here. Disclaimer: i also come like 1-2 times every week for the beef noodle soup.
Speaking of beef noodle soup, it's A1 -

So excited to start my Minneapolis Bahn Mi hunt at My Huong Kitchen. So many vegetarian options, we'll definitely be back! We were those terrible people who showed up starving 20 min before close, but they were extremely accommodating and even gave us a free mini red bean drink with our order. The tofu was a little tough in texture but it was the end of the night so I understood. Bread was excellent and the ratio of filling to bread was great

My Huong is a friendly, family-run Vietnamese spot that has two types of vegan banh mi and a couple vegan noodle soups.
The vegetable egg roll ($4 for two) is good.
The mock duck banh mi and tofu banh mi (both $6 each) can be made vegan if you omit the mayo; both are fine, but not super flavorful. If you want better banh mi, check out Lu's Sandwiches or Jasmine Deli, both only a couple blocks away.
I love the vegan curry noodle soup ($10), as it's savory, addictive and deeply satisfying. It might be the best in the Twin Cities. I think the soup base could be slightly thicker, but

Tracy and Kevin are the kindest of owners and their food is consistently spectacular, since they've opened and through the pandemic. The vegan spring rolls are the best I've had in any country I've lived in. They can be made with mock duck or lemongrass tofu, and have a perfect balance of fresh aromatic herbs, soft noodles, crunchy lettuce, and protein, the flavors and texture combination just heaven.
The vegan noodle soup is straight up comfort food and has made many a friend cry with happiness at how good it is, with a generous colorful portion of cooked vegetables, as well as

Quick update! My first time here I went because Quang was closed on a Tuesday. I was sad but I gave this a second and third chance because it was honestly it's that good you guys. We had the egg rolls, spring rolls, multiple entrees, bubble tea, pho, salads and you can't really go wrong. It's still a great price point and the food is delicious. If you haven't been here I recommend giving this place a chance

I love banh mi sandwiches. Fresh French bread, amazing toppings such as carrots, fresh jalapenos, cilantro, etc. Of the many spots that I've tried in my two years in Minneapolis, I can undoubtedly say that My Houng is the best in the Twin Cities.
A quaint, family owned spot right off of Nicolett, it is unassuming, but the food is what you go there for. I've had their traditional banh mi (excellent), but the lemongrass chicken is to die for. The chicken is seasoned just to the brim of not overtaking the flavor of the entire sandwich. I get mine extra spicy with their house made chili

My Huong Kitchen has always been a local fave of mine. Authentic and delicious Vietnamese food prepared by a dedicated fam. You can't beat that! And that's why I still needed to venture out to get them during COVID-19 for #YelpsBigNightIn.
They currently offer delivery, takeout, and curbside pickup. It's all organized internally, so their delivery charges might be high but it's the best they can do as self-sufficient a small local biz. We opted for curbside pickup this time around. We ordered: Fresh shrimp spring rolls, #7 Combo Broken Rice plate, #1 Egg Roll Bun (noodle salad

So amazing. Top five favorite restaurants and go to choice for soup. This is the largest portion i've ever had and it's $8 ish dollars. I can eat A LOT! and this place has me walking away full as hell with two servings worth of leftovers. The owner is amazing and the decorations and decor all around is so nice. They have tiny baby turtles. I always get the vegan noodle soup with fried tofu- AAAMAAAZZZINGGG. The spring rolls are so fat and so fresh , I can not NOT order them!

Dropped in on another drive-by spring roll run. Not coordinating ten things at once this time, and I actually notice that this spot is a Vietnamese minimall complete with salon and travel services. Cute.
I'm pretty sure the girl I talk to isn't My Huong. She looks and sounds way younger than the woman I ordered from last time.
I didn't call ahead this time, using the wait time to take photos instead, because #Yelplife. The space is cozy if a bit cluttered. Way too much imagery and text screaming at you all at once near the register. I guess that's one way to communicate your

Had initially called to order take out on my way home from work but when I got there: 1) the area is so beautiful with enough parking if you get there around 5:30-6ish at least, 2) the restaurant was so cute and they had open seating at the time! 3) the owners were so nice!
Starters: the fresh tofu spring roll. I usually get the fried and to be honest when I'd ordered the spring roll over the phone, I thought I'd ordered fried but I'm glad I ended up getting the fresh spring roll instead. It was so refreshing with its mint leaves. Would definitely recommend.

My FAVORITE restaurant in the Twin Cities!
I happily accidentally discovered MHK via Postmates. Me and my coworkers were craving some fried rice. We both looked at each other like..."wait, this is the best fried rice ever". After that we got the rest of the office hooked!
I've only been to the restaurant twice but each time has been a great experience. Service is super friendly, welcoming, and sweet. I love that it has the "food from your auntie" feel - if you're asian and know, you know. Parking is also free in the lot. Each time there's also been no wait
