Tony began his career at a Toyota dealership in Florida where he worked to become ASE Certified. From there, he moved into aftermarket repairs working at various national chains. When we moved to South Carolina, Tony continued to work as an ASE Certified technician for a few years before moving into management.
It was during this time that we understood the need for the repair to come second to the relationship. With the desire to make it about the customer, it was impressed upon our hearts to take a leap of faith and open the doors of Claflin Auto. We are all created for community and through automotive repair, we've been able to build relationships and so much more!

We work with extended warranty companies for any repairs that arise during the covered period. Some of the companies we work with include: Carmax, GWC, Indurance, Member Choice and many more. If you're looking to purchase a vehicle or are leaving town, you can do so with confidence. We provide a full-service digital vehicle inspection of items that may be of concern.

I took my car to Tony at Claflin Auto to have my evaporator core fixed, which required them removing all of my dashboard components to get to the part. I Immediately noticed issues with the car. They hadn’t tested anything out to make sure it was put together right before I picked it up.
The climate control panel was not working correctly, my Bluetooth mic wasn’t working, the steering controls for my radio wasn’t working and wires were hanging out here and there, not properly reinstalled.
Also, the air vents were not working correctly either, like changing to defrost or to floor, etc. They

I chose to take my car to Claflin Auto after I had a hose break off and had to have the car towed for repair. From the initial contact with Tony, he was honest, professional and timely. He kept me informed along each step in the repair process. He could have charged me more for what I thought was the issue with the vehicle, but he contacted me and informed me that it wasn't the issue that I thought and ended up saving me money. I recently moved to SC so I didn't know any mechanics in the area, but now that I have worked with Tony and the team at Claflin I now have "my" mechanic

Tony, Paige, and the whole staff are phenomenal. It is a highly recommended/certified shop that I found on Repair Pal dot com.
Call experience: Paige will answer and write down notes of your vehicle concerns. Tony usually calls immediately and will send you a quote via text message through a software called Shop Boss Pro. The software is great because there are four tabs at the top where you can see your Vehicle Inspection with pictures of the problem, and they break everything down in the invoice with how much the parts cost, plus the labor. The links never expire, so you have full time access

Claflin is Fantastic and they have done amazing work on my Audi's. These guys are first class and probably one of the areas best kept secret. They are knowledgeable, experienced and very professional. Dont let the location fool you because once you step inside they will immediately put you at ease and gain your confidence. Claflin Auto was a pleasant surprise to a die-hard car enthusiast! I usually don't allow shops to work on my own cars as good shops are hard to find, and the real good ones charge to much. I usually perform all my own work, but being I love cars and have so many I decided to give Tony and crew a try upon a recommendation by my sister. Finally found a mechanic and shop that I trust. I have been very pleased with the quality of work and respectful customer service I have received at Claflin auto. We have had to have a lot of work done to one of our cars this year and I am thankful to have a mechanic like Tony and his team that I can count on. I was referred to Clafin Auto by a neighbor and all I can say is 5 Star all the way. Tony took about 30 minutes to walk through and discuss my situation before I even got into scheduling an appointment.
