This place is awesome! They treated us right from the beginning. We went in today as new patients with what I thought was an emergency. (It turned out not to be an emergency). Cloe did my daughters x-rays quickly and efficiently. After we were led to an exam room where we found an open and very clean environment with two exams chairs and stations. There was even a tv monitor mounted to the ceiling for children's enjoyment. Soon after the doctor came in and quickly assessed my daughters teeth and x-rays. (No cavities and no emergency, yay!) Cloe quickly and efficiently cleaned my daughters teeth

We went in today for a cap on my 9yr old. He did terrible...screamed cried and shook the chair the whole time. He has always behaved this way during dental appointments. The only two times we have done reasonably ok at the dentist were our previous appointment at Rocky top pediatric dentist.
I have no idea how the dentist got the job done today but he did! He never lost patience. Continued to talk softly to my son and encourage him. The nurse was the bees knees too! Everyone in the office is kind and shows empathy. Thank you Rocky too pediatric dentist!!!

From the time you enter this very clean facility until you leave, there is such a positive atmosphere.
The staff are kind and friendly. We never feel rushed and my kids feel comfortable speaking to the hygienist. Then there is Dr. Jeff. He makes the whole experience worth while. There is no arrogance with him compared to other Dr.'s we have seen.
This place is worth the drive for us!

I would first like to say that Dr. Arrowood is amazing. He is great with the children and proving a comforting environment in what can be a scary place for youngsters. My low rating is on behalf of 2 bad experiences with one of his nurses, nurse Kenya. Her bedside manner is atrocious. She struggled on how to give my daughter xrays and had to get another nurse to advise her and then left my daughter in the chair for almost 10 minutes while she was “checking” to see if the photos came out ok. After our last visit and horrible experience with this nurse I had specifically requested she not be

Several bad experiences at this office. Will spare the details. But if my children are afraid to come To your office, when you are suppose to be a space that is safe/comfortable to your clientele. Something must be wrong. You may have the top of the line/ creative cool atmosphere. But, atmosphere doesn’t matter when the staff and dr is shady.
Thankful to have found a new dentist office that our kids love, genuine staff, and no mess ups.

The best decision I've made as mother in a dental view was choosing RTPD for my children. The staff is all really nice and they have a lot of patience with each child. I choose to make this drive because it's worth it to see my kids not fearing the dentist any more. Rocky Top Pediatric Dentistry is definitely who I refer all of my friends and family with that have have kids they are the best.
