THE MOST BIZARRE EXPERIENCE EVER
I went here for my pre-bday dinner for a few cocktails and apps
I thought everything was cute, low key kinda night... until I got randomly cut off
We all thought it was a joke because I was the quiet one so I thought it was their way of getting me more excited ....
No I was actually cut off ! After a few drinks !
And then for my bday they gave me a glass of champagne !! After they cut me off!!

So I used to work at this spot, but at one point I was let go over an unfortunate petty incident (which was my fault, but I'm past that now). Despite that, I still come back to visit from time to time and treat it as a regular hangout spot. Their Buffalo cauliflower (pictured below) never ceases to amaze!!! Overall, great food and great service from my server, Ibrahim (Abe)!
The only complaint I have (aside from being let go) is that, it seems as if they never clean or wipe down their tables and furniture is for some reason slightly stained. Everything seemed a little dirty as far as remaining

I would rate them 6 out of 5 stars if it was possible. Due to COVID, we needed to rethink our daughter's bat mitzvah plans (rather quickly, too) and wanted to think outside the box to combine safety, beauty, and traditions (respecting the Jewish elements of the service). Every employee from the top down was amazing and accommodating. It was not an answer of 'no, we can't do that' at any point. Instead, it was 'absolutely' or 'how about...' or 'let's see how we can make this work'. Our daughter, family, and friends had a remarkable, rememberable

Visited for the first time (surprising considering I've stayed at this hotel as a treat to myself with my pup) for a Yelp elite event and it did not disappoint! The views (even after sunset) were lovely and the temperature was a flawless gentle chill with the fires adding warmth and a classy aesthetic. I had a Gimlet and Final Word which were gin-based and dELICIOUS. I overheard the manager mentioning that they don't intend to become a bottle service location which I appreciate and respect as so many places in Chicago seem to strive for an inauthentic exclusivity which primarily highlights

My friends and I had the best experience here last Friday. Our server, Abe, was genuinely nice, attentive, and delightful. Although it was crazy busy, we never felt like we were rushed or had to wait long time for our drinks and food. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone I know and they’d be lucky to get Abe as their server.

We hosted the rehearsal dinner for our wedding at the J. Parker this past weekend.
Coordinating with Briana and the events team was super easy leading up to the event. They were extremely prompt and agreeable to changes and adjustments.
During the event, our server, Abe, was extremely attentive and enthusiastic. The owner onsite was also very gracious and accommodating, working to ensure everything was going smoothly.
The menu choices all sounded great and we were very pleased with our selections. There was plenty to go around.
All around, our guests had a fantastic afternoon. Thank you to

A friend suggested this place, and i really enjoyed myself here. I didn't get the opportunity to try the food because I came after last call, however the drinks are amazing. Do be warned, the drinks are served out of clear plastic flutes and cups due to the danger of having glass on a roof top. However, the view is amazing and service is great. I will be suggesting this place to friends and I also plan to return here in the future.

Came here for the first time on a Sunday exactly at 3 o'clock for opening During covid.
We waited in line for almost 40 minutes just to be standing outside in the line then inside the hotel lobby then finally getting a table upstairs. The menu is limited whether it be the All day menu or the breakfast menu or the drinks I find also limited.
It is a full bar so I'm sure he'll make any cocktail however they also charge $7.50 for one white claw can and only offer one flavor.
When I went the crowd was pretty diverse and eclectic as is the staff. Views are incredible from anywhere

Located at the rooftop of Hotel Lincoln this place has been a great oasis. Peaceful, breathtaking views amazing service and Amazing views.
Hotel Lincoln is located on Clark street directly across the street from Lincoln Park. On the top floor is a beautiful rooftop restaurant JParker. Here you will find glass enclosed seating that faces the east sun with the heater to your back..this means on a relatively cool 51° Chicago day....your breakfast/brunch experience will feel like you are sitting in 75° oasis.
Breakfast is walkup to the counter and you provide your order. The cashier/waiter is so

Great rooftop experience at a reasonable price available at the J. Parker. Visited with my daughter early one Monday weeknight. Seating is carefully managed to ensure social distancing and staff members are masked. Good selection of beers and ciders in the $7 range. Very generous apps available for about $10. We had a huge serving of truffle fries, which were delicious. The people across from us had sweet potato waffle fries and wings, which they said were very good. Seating is limited to two hours, which was more than enough time for us to enjoy the early evening sunshine and the beautiful view

After messaging management from a not so great experience the first time, they completely redeemed themselves and made sure it was awesome the second time. They treated us like complete VIPs and it was so much fun and greatly appreciated.
Good music, food, drinks, and great views of the city Definitely will be going back

Chilly afternoon turned out to be a good reason to stop for a drink at the J Parker rooftop bar. The view was inviting, worth waiting for since the line downstairs was quite long. We arrived 30 min before opening and waited in the lobby of the hotel for a host to let everyone upstairs.
I liked our drinks recommended by a waitress . She was super attentive and pleasant.
The view and the drinks are the highlights of this rooftop.
The food is not bad , but the options are rather limited to your typical bar menu : sandwiches with fries , cheeseburgers, etc .
I would recommend this rooftop

Have been wanting to try this place for a bit, but the entire dining experience was no more than average and underwhelming.
They don't take reservations but if you call ahead and ask to be put on their waiting list, that's the best you'll get for a "reservation." The rooftop bar is located on the roof of the Hotel Lincoln.
Upon sitting down, I noticed they had a rather small-ish menu. I tend to always refer to the staff choice on drinks and food, but when I asked, the response of "oh I don't know it just depends on my mood, I can't really tell you"

Wanted to get out of the house, and discovered that the J.Parker rooftop was open, compliant with the current outdoor dining restrictions. We went on a Friday night, for some drinks and dinner. It was definitely chilly, despite the space heaters and various "indoor" (but near a window/door) tables, but still manageable. The drink menu is great, however the food menu is very limited. My husband and I both got burgers, which ended up being a generous amount of food, however there's not much available if you have any dietary restrictions. Also -- it was very dark! We had trouble viewing

This place is my favorite! The views are absolutely stunning. There is always a nice and relaxed vibe every time I am here.
The restaurant is taking extreme precautions for Covid and I love it. Because of those precautions, try to get there as early as you can! Seating is very limited and there are no reservations, so you really never know when you will be able to get up!
There is not a big menu selection, but what they do have is DELICIOUS. Their buffalo cauliflower, fries and burger are ALL to die for! Truly delicious but with a hint of fancy bar food. Honestly this is a great place to relax

5 stars for overall experience and incredible views of the city. We went here last Sunday for a "few drinks" for my friends birthday ended up staying here most of the night. We were a group of 7 and considering the 6 people minimum during this time they made sure to accommodate us just on two separate tables. We started on the lounge first coz the booth had a long wait and as soon as we had a spot they moved us. Very accommodating and understanding. The views are incredible and the drinks are great be careful coz they can get strong.
I'll definitely come back and check out the food

The J Parker is a rooftop bar that happens to serve food. It's a great place to bring friends and hangout.
The J Parker (named after Lincoln's often-drunk bodyguard) is a rooftop bar located on top of the Lincoln Hotel in Lincoln Park. Avoiding the downtown tourist crowds, there is barely a line to get in here.
The best views are the open-roofed south-facing view. But even if you don't get seating there, the other views are solid as well. Protip: Check out the cool window view in the restroom, you won't be disappointed.
Staff here is great, kind, and friendly. Expect chatty

Awesome rooftop above Hotel Lincoln that overlooks Lincoln Park. The skyline looks spectacular from here, esp at night when everything is lit up. There is an enclosed rooftop and also the outdoor portion. This is going to be one of our go to spots this upcoming summer.
We came here at 8 pm on Saturday night and were able to snag a table. Drinks are pretty strong and good - you get your money's worth. Truffle fries are to die for - super hot, crisp, and the house made ranch is wonderful. You can really taste the truffle as well.

Have not had the food here both times I have been been here. Last time I was here was 2 years ago and I had a good experience. Today we ordered the drinks and these were easily some of the worst $13 drinks I have had.
It is sad that this place has become like the signature room (terrible drinks...but at least the view are good?). Our service was pretty good and I can't complain but once again cocktails tasted cheap and looked bad. Also, our table was on top of a vent and it was blowing extremely cold air until everyones legs and bottoms. Very uncomfortable, we left after 30 minutes.

This place is really cool. It's got a chill vibe to it and the views of the city are amazing. There's technically 2 sections to it - one open with an outdoor patio and one kinda open with table seating. The drinks are good and if you can't find a mixed drink you like their spirit list is quite large so you have options.
