I have NEVER had a worst experience in a mechanic than I did here DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE FOR SERVICE HERE! I was greated nicely by the cashier when I first contacted him, he informed that service would be $110per hour for labor which is actually on the cheaper side. After bringing in my vehicle to be checked because of a problem with my A/C blower fan problem plus some issues with the car at ideal, he quoted me at $2100. I've come in a couple times, sometimes with an appointment and sometimes with an emergency. Every time they've been friendly, accommodating, and timely. It's in the mid-range as far as pricing but consistently good work so it's worth it. No towing, but they were able to recommend A Seattle Tow, and I had a good experience with them too.
It's also nice that there's a few places nearby where I can grab a bite or run some errands on foot while they do their work, and they can call me when they're done or hold my car until the end of the day.

They said they would work with me and tried to be nice but the second i got my car in and couldnt afford what they were offering for repair i offered to pay the fee that was ready for them but instead of working with me like they said (because i told them i have not much if at all ANY money right now due to pandemic) they gave me complete price but added fees for stuff they never did to my car. Quang was very very helpful! He explained everything and made me feel confident in getting my vehicle fixed! I did feel pressured into spending my money here which I feel is very important with people who have a lot of issues with their car. It was a little difficult to find because on Google the shop is called "Seattle Emissions Test" and the actual location is called Auto Repair and Emissions Test.

The best auto shop in the area. Amazing service, affordable price, trustworthy, and friendly. They are honest and won't try to rip you off (which is rare for auto shops) when it comes to their book time/quote, for example, if a job takes 2 hours, than that's what they're gonna quote you (or a little bit over, like 2.2 hours) and not say it's 5-6 hours unlike most other auto shops who are greedy and evil. They will actually take care of you and your vehicle, not just look at you as money walking. Carlos the mechanic who helped me is an awesome guy!

It is very embarrassing when you call to speak to the owner off T auto repair but always get the run around why he is unavailable wonted to talk to the owner about Dave and Erick customer service issues.

I use to love coming here & having T work on my car. He was always so fast, efficient and his prices were very affordable. Lately, T hasn’t been doing much of the work at his shop- or at least that’s what it seems because every time I come he’s not there, and when I ask for him the man at the front desk, Dave I believe says he’s not there as much any more. Went in to have my EGR valve replaced. Been back twice with it still throwing the code. They tried to tell me that my fuel pump was causing the EGR valve code. I had a friend look at it and instead of replacing the O-ring they siliconed it in. Now their is silicone in the EGR tube. They told me they may have to order me a new EGR valve that is more expensive. They are funny if they think I'm paying for that.

I came here with my Toyota Corolla to do the emissions testing for my license tabs. It failed and I needed to get work done on my catalytic converter. I was told by T that he would try and get me a good deal on the part and service. Normally that sets off red alarms in my head because usually people that say that are going to screw your over!!! Not T Auto!!!!! They were so quick to find a part ($350 cheaper than any other auto shop) and they had it done in one day! I have gotten service here about 4 more times and every experience has been a pleasure, thanks T!

I took in my car to get it checked for a noise my car had, He said he had mechanics that were experts on Audi. Well he lied they took over 45 mins just standing next to the car listening to the sound without even checking the engine. He came in and recommended me putting a new engine on my car which was going to be like $ 3000 supposedly. I took it to SeaTac import sports and they said it was a cam tensioner that was failing. Paid 995.00 and got it fixed. Don't come here.

Hey guys.My car's turn up system failure, they say $500 can be repaired, pick up the car three days later, Then they called and said need to add $500 to fix if i want, they check car completion first, estimate the price to me. Unreasonable, it is clear that deception. Do not believe in this shop, please be careful. what kind of person they are.

The boys here did a great job with my car and helped me out a lot! I don't know much about cars but these guys sure did. I went to another place before this one and they couldn't even figure it out AND tried to charge me up the butt for the check up.
My car (2008 Mazda3) was making a bunch of nasty sounds on the road and they got that fixed real quick. I haven't had any problems since! They were very clear on what needed to be done, the pricing was just right, and they were all super nice and patient too. Definitely coming back here when I mess up my car again.

I am working with the Manager at this SHOP right now, trying to get a refund on work they did which was faulty. I had a coolant leak, brought my car in on Friday May 1, 2015, they identified the problem, upsold me on a few hoses, tried to sell me a timing belt, etc. I did agree to a top of the line oil change while my care was there. This place has come under new ownership (in the last 3-4 months, not sure when) and beware they are doing very shady business. I came in, 5 minutes before 6:00pm in the evening on a Wednesday to ask for a free estimate. The new owner, Deedee (male), told me to bring my car back the next day so they could have time to do the estimate. I dropped my car off the following morning. I went all over town looking for great price. And all was very pricey until I came to T.
The price is really reasonable.
He spoke to me through the process and was very kind/polite. Most shop was rude and wanted to take my money off my hand. And I'm not that knowledgeable in cars and business. But I know when I'm being ripped off.
T and his team walked me through the process and nice enough to explain what I needed and what was really the issue with my car.
I don't know what else to say. The place is awesome! I can so so much about how great it is.
