At Zbinden & Curtis, we care about accident victims. We are personal injury lawyers in Portland who understand the devastating impact of accidents. That is why we fight tooth and nail for our clients. We know how a car accident, truck accident, motorcycle crash or other type of accident can lead to significant losses.
Our goal is to pursue maximum compensation for clients, who not only need to pay bills but also need closure. If you've suffered an injury because of someone else's recklessness or you lost a loved one due to negligence, we understand how difficult your life can get. You may quickly face mounting bills.

Services
For clients who have transportation issues due to serious injury or are unable to travel, we will gladly come to your home or the hospital. We will explain the legal process and begin steps needed to represent you in your personal injury claim. Zbinden & Curtis are Washington and Oregon personal injury attorneys who thrive on working hard for accident victims.
Car accidents in Oregon or Washington can happen any time, even to the most cautious drivers. You may drive defensively, but sometimes factors beyond your control can lead to a car accident. An automobile accident may be caused by a distracted driver or someone driving under the influence (DUI) of drugs or alcohol, to cite just a couple of ways accidents can happen.
Trucking accidents can be tragic given the size of tractor-trailers, also known as 18-wheelers or big rigs. Trucks can be more than 20 times the size of an average passenger vehicle. It's difficult to imagine the destruction caused by a truck accident on a busy Oregon roadway like Interstate-5 or Interstate-84.
Motorcycles offer an exciting way to experience the open road in a way that can hardly be matched by driving a car. They're fun and economical, but they do carry risks. While drivers and passengers in cars have airbags and seatbelts to protect them, motorcycle riders have relatively little crash protection.
A defective product can lead to serious injuries. A dangerous product can range from a home appliance that causes a shock or fire to a vehicle defect that plays a role in a car accident. Manufacturers of defective products retain teams of attorneys and have plenty of resources on their side to protect their interests.

There is an incredible level of disrespect that goes one in this firm. The lack of caring/empathy is palpable from the first meeting. Mr. Curtis strikes me as a used car salesman who is only looking after his own butt, and Mr. Zbinden is far worse. I was involved in a major motor vehicle accident and the only thing they seemed interested in was how much money that could be made (by them), and couldn't care less about how I was going to pay my bills or how I was going to get by for the next six months while in recovery. It was a hurry up so we can settle your case kind of feeling. Suffice it

They've been very helpful so far my case is still going on but everyone there is really nice really comforting very helpful will give you all sorts of information that will help you with your case they seem to genuinely care whether you're okay or not and if not they're willing to work to find you a doctor that will continue to help you with the problems that you're having I would suggest them to anyone who needs services for any type of accident

My daughter was hit by a drunk driver and thank goodness I had George Curtis to help me negotiate the lawsuit that followed. There were many insurance companies involved and it got daunting at times. George talked me off a ledge more than once. He guided my daughter through a very difficult deposition and was a great support in every way. The final settlement, negotiated by George, was substantial and I never would have been able to figure it out by myself. The office staff was informed and responsive. I highly recommend George and his firm if you are in the unfortunate situation of needing a personal

George Curtis whom I do not think did his job. Some quotes he made to were "do you expect me to look through your file" and "that's why they pay me the big bucks" though knowingly he pays others to do his job, and asking me multiple times for the same documents. The only person doing their job was a lady named Mo. Even when we went to mediation, Mo was looking over everything while my attorney sat back in his chair looking on his cell phone (which he did on many occasions). My attorney didn't speak up one time. Mo did all the speaking. My attorney wanted me to settle

In 1998 I split my knee cap in half by slipping on a wet floor in a non-profit drop in center for homeless youth. I was 19. After contacting several attorneys who refused to help me simply because the place was run by the Salvation Army, I found George Curtis. He came to the place I was staying to interview me. He always returned my calls and was never anything other than professional, polite and caring. After 2 surgery's and about a year of him constantly negotiating and arguing with the insurance companies on my behalf and refusing to take less than what was fair, and it was finally time

Curtis is one of the most unpleasant, rude and condescending people I've ever had the displeasure of working with. Wouldn't let me get a word out until I demanded he stop interrupting me. Obviously had no medical background and wouldn't listen to a word I said, even though I'm a medical professional. Kept repeating questions and wouldn't let me answer them, kept interrupting me over and over again. He didn't even introduce himself upon entering the room. Don't bother with these clowns, not worth your time.

I hired Mr. Curtis for a car accident and I found him to be extremely rude and sexist towards his secretary. I felt he talked down to her. He actually yelled at me in a phone conversation we had, to the point I had to tell him that I was going to hang up If he persisted. Unfortunately I had signed a contract with him before I figured out hat type of person he was.
