Thank you for visiting the website for my psychotherapy practice, Valued Insight Counseling! I am truly passionate about the counseling profession and I believe that this has shown through to all that I have worked with to achieve their goals. Since I was 17 years old I knew I wanted to be a therapist, after leading a peer counseling group.
A therapist can be a facilitator to help you discover the unhealthy thought patterns and behaviors that may be keeping you feeling stuck. You can learn how to practice self-compassion and strengthen the positive qualities you already have. I offer individual and family therapy sessions as needed to help my clients reach the goals we develop collaboratively.
I take a empathetic and non-judgmental approach to therapy. I use a collaborative, strength-based approach, which means I believe that you already have everything you need for growth. A therapist can act as a guide to help you discover the unhealthy thought patterns and behaviors that keep you feeling stuck or avoiding life.
