We are one of the leading auto repair shops serving customers in Westminster, MD, Finksburg, MD, Taneytown, MD, and surrounding areas. All automotive repair and mechanic services at Barnes Service Center are performed by highly qualified mechanics. Our mechanic shop works on numerous vehicles with the use of quality truck and car repair equipment.
The vision of BFGoodrich(R) is to be innovative and deliver products that make a difference. Bridgestone or "Stone Bridge" (the direct translation of the name from Japanese) was founded in 1931 by Shojiro Ishibashi in Japan. Japan slowly started producing. In 1888, while watching his son ride a tricycle, John Boyd Dunlop noticed his son's discomfort whenever he rode over cobbled ground with solid rubber wheels.

Founded in 1931 by Shojiro Ishibashi, Bridgestone or "Stone Bridge" (direct translation from Japanese) was created in Japan. In the 1930's Japan slowly stated producing automobiles, and in 1932 Bridgestone became the first tire manufacturing company to offer tires nationally. By 1983 Bridgestone purchased a tire plant in La Vergne, Tennessee, from Firestone Tire & Rubber.

I made an appointment (2 days in advance) at 9 AM to have tires put on my car because I was assured that was the best time for efficiency and it also fit into my schedule. I arrived on time and before they started working on my car I’m told there is someone else that needs to get done before me. (They did not have an appointment.) I hope this was an important customer to Barnes because over the past 15 years I’ve used them multiple times for MULTIPLE vehicles but after essentially being told someone else is more important than I they have lost my business in the future. That was unprofessional

Terrific service. Been taking my car to them for years because my dad had been taking his cars there for years. Down-to-earth people who explain what's going on with your car the good and the bad. And if an issue arises they work with you on if you can wait until the next service to address it, or how they can work on it and save you some money. I feel completely comfortable letting them work on my car and they are very straightforward people. I recommend them to anybody.
