My greatest inspiration and source of joy in my life is my beautiful family. I am a wife, a mom, a young grandma, and a Vancouver, WA family photographer. I specialize in family, newborn, sitter session (older babies) and cake smash (1st birthday) photography. However, I enjoy photographing engagement (couples), senior, and maternity portrait photography as well.
Photography became my hobby when I bought my first DSLR camera to take photos of my son's karate tournaments. I have many years of experience in taking karate photos. I have also had a lot of opportunities to travel, so I enjoy landscape photography as well. I was born and raised in Japan and I visit my family in Japan quite often.

Yukari is so amazing. She did our son's newborn photos at 11 days old and was perfect. So professional and everything we wanted. She evens brings all her props and sets up and tears down at your location. She was so great with our baby too. I never had a doubt the whole time. She kept in contact from the moment I inquired and booked her and left the day open to ensure our baby's time frame. I absolutely would hire again and recommend her to anyone for family/newborn photos.

We found Yukari through a Google search and I am so glad we did!
We had our son's Senior Photo Session. She was great though the whole process. Very responsive, great communication. She let us pick the location, and even being unfamiliar with the location she agreed and met us there.
Very professional, had great ideas for photo ops, backgrounds, poses. She has a natural ability to find great areas and my shy son had so much fun with her ideas.
The end result had so many amazing photos, great editing and quality. We will definitely recommend her to everyone and use her in the future!

Yukari was so wonderful to work with and our photos turned out so great I purchased all of them (her pricing model is super reasonable). She came to our home for newborn pictures. She was on time and well prepared with props, outfits and even a goodie bag for my toddler. She utilized the natural lighting in our home and stayed until we got every last shot we wanted. Her edits were gorgeous (even touching up some newborn acne)!!! I cannot say more about what a pleasure it was for us to work with Yukari.

We did a cake smash photoshoot for our daughters 1st birthday and we are so blessed to have found Yakari; She is extremely professional and friendly, and the photos turned out so beautifully - without having to break the bank. Not only is she extremely responsive, but her eye for creativity and detail is amazing. I wanted a simplistic tropical theme for the shoot and wasn't quite sure how to get it to come together, but Yukari was able to take my idea and turn it in to a beautiful reality. Really couldn't be happier with our choice to go through her to capture this special time with our first born

We had our first family photo shoot with Yukari. Our little girl was not very cooperative but Yukari did her magic and made the pictures turn out great! We are very pleased with her patience and skill entertaining young children! We will definitely be using her for all our future family photo shoots:)

Yukari did a family photo session for us. From the very start she has been great to work with—quick to respond, flexible and made the booking process easy! Our session was a bit chaotic (due to our two toddlers being a little wild and cranky) but Yukari worked beautifully with the little ones and I could not believe how many beautiful photos she took! She worked hard to make sure we got all of the shots we wanted and was very calm, patient and upbeat through it all.
