I'm always amazed when I see people post things about Chinese takeout like "Absolutely amazing food" etc. because let's be honest: 99% of Chinese takeout places are supplied by the exact same vendors and have the exact same menus and preparation. So really the ONLY difference is whether they rotate their product properly and serve you fresh-tasting food. HUNAN does that! I started going there when too often my usual takeout place would give me very old, even spoiled bits of beef in Beef & Broccoli or Pepper Steak etc. That's never happened at Hunan, the food is always

Was questioning with the mixed reviews. Ordered delivery and it was 45min-hour just like they said. Lots of food for a decent price. Food was good exactly what I expected. I even forgot to put our apartment number and was called immediately by the restaurant to clarify. Would definitely recommend. I will be going back for sure.

Poor customer service. If you order online it's a minimum 2 hour wait, meaning it could take longer than that. No where on their website says anything about the ridiculous timeframe. Then when you call after an hour and 15 min of waiting to ask why is it taking so long in a nice manner, they give no incentive, no sympathy, no apology.... He then says to me, "ok I'll start making your food now." I tell him that I have kids that have been waiting to eat, I would have never ordered knowing this timeframe of theirs. He then says, "oh ok I'll try to rush the order and delivery

Food ordered for delivery at 5pm did not arrive until 8:30pm. Business was rude when calling about status of delivery. Business appears to have over extended their abilities when offering free delivery to the area. Food also arrived cold with no apology given even after being tipped. Food was ok after microwave.

I love Hunan. Can't beat the price and the food is delicious! You get so much that it's really 2 meals in 1! Showed my husband this little gem and now he's hooked! Get the sesame chicken, you won't regret it!

Hunan in Mount Pleasant offers very delicious and flavorful Chinese Food. Their food is very well prepared and fresh. I have had a really good meal every time I have got food from here and have been impressed with their quality. The staff here is very friendly and accommodating and makes sure that you are happy with your order and everything is right. Hunan is well worth a visit if you want some good Chinese.

I eat regularly there when in a hurry cuz office is a block away. Low mein, chow mein pepper steak, wings are always good.

We are devoted PF Chang's customers. Heard the food was good so decided to give a try. We're 2 hours in and still no food. I've called every 15 minutes for the last 45 and told it's on it's way. TWO HOURS!!!!!!!! No food. Simply terrible. Thought saving a few bucks was worth it but wish I'd stuck with old dependable PF Chang's that delivers good food in a reasonable time frame. What the hell is wrong with these people?!? I ordered at 5:40pm and I'm writing this review at 7:43. They're lucky 0 stars is not an option.

Deplorable . Website down so we called. They left out white rice. How can a Chinese restaurant leave out white rice. The fried rice was over cooked as was the dumplings. The shrimp was old and stunk. This was an epic fail and a waste of money. Do not recommend.

Terrible disappointment. Wonton egg drop soup should have been a chicken broth with egg and wontons, comforting and salty deliciousness. Instead it was inedible oil, yes oil/grease with no flavor what so ever! I couldn't even add salt and revive it, it was 100% oil! I tried pulling the wontons out but they had been cooked in the oil so were inedible.

Eggrolls: I asked which of the rolls were filled with vegetables/cabbage and not doughy and was told the regular eggrolls were the best. They were rolled up wrapper and maybe a tablespoon cabbage in the whole thing. Terrible! 90% wrapper! They

Favorite Chinese food In Mount pleasant area!!!! I've been here 3 times so far and will be back again. Food is always hot and prepared just right.

I have to say that as populated as Highway 41 is in Mount Pleasant, there is a lack of delivery options for us! I was Told that Hunan restaurant in Queensborough shopping Center would deliver. I was also told to allow extra time but that the food would be worth it. I decided to give it a try last week when I was sick. I can promise you it was worth every second! The food was delicious and I plan to order many times more. Maybe some of the local restaurants will follow suite and deliver to Planters Pointe Subdivisions and Rivertowne and Dunes West!!!

I LOVEEEEE chinese take out so when I find a good place, i'm hooked! One of the first nights living in my new home in Mount Pleasant, I decided to order Hunan in. We ordered the mongolian beef, vegetable lo mein, sweet + sour chicken, egg rolls, spring rolls and chicken + broccoli. Everything was great! I am a sucker for a great egg roll & Hunan definitely has one! It is the epitome of what you think of when you think great chinese food delivery.

We are happy with the food here. This is the only one in Mt pleasant we ever order delivery from and yes it may take some time sometimes but the food is always good and hot. We order a couple times a month!

Good value for Asian food. $8 will give you two meals. Service seems slow, but it's worth the wait.

They deliver quickly and always listen to special instructions. We ordered a bunch of food for a big group of us and everything came to us piping hot, fresh and exactly as we asked it to be. Rarely do places honor requests such as "light on the oil" but these folks do! Their curry chicken with onions is awesome and comes with a bunch of veggies; not just onions! Their healthy diet options are also really nice. Their hot & sour soup is AMAZING and chocked full of tofu and pork. Egg Foo Young is also excellent - both the chicken and pork were great too. Best spot for Chinese delivery in mount pleasant. They actually deliver while the other Chinese spots advertise it and then when you call they say pickup only or "we only deliver within 5 miles". Great food, friendly service (both on the phone and delivery man). I highly recommend the happy family. Very good!

Bingo! This is the first Chinese food place that tastes like back home. One can always tell a good Chinese food place by their egg rolls, spare ribs and fried rice.

The egg rolls are on point (crunchy and full!), the fried rice is not greasy or lumpy and the spare ribs (perfect crisp and tender) are legit!

It's not much of a restaurant but we still decided to dine in. Not sure about delivery but the service was friendly and quick.
