Hopefully this will save someone else's time and money. NEVER go to this doctor for a TMJ splint!
I was in need of relief from pain caused by TMJ issues. Dr. Santucci prescribed what he calls an appliance, basically a retainer that stabilizes your bite. The doctor wears one himself which gave me the impression it must work. I was charged $5800.
The office was so excited to make the sale they literally filed care credit before I even personally approved. It was a shady sales technique and I wish I spoke up at the time.

Doctor Santucci is the BEST dentist my family and I have ever gone to. The care he deliberately puts into every patient is extraordinary. The staff is meticulously picked to match his professionalism, respect, and overall excellence.

I highly recommend Dr. Santucci, he is kind, generous and Always patient when it comes to getting me numb enough to work on (it takes a lot to get me numb!). The entire office is warm, welcoming & professional, and focused on making their guest's experience relaxed and painless. I always feel special and taken care of by everyone, especially Dr Santucci.

I used to dread going to the dentist until a friend referred me to Dr. Santucci. His manner and approach are respectful and thoughtful, and while he and his amazing hygienists may offer advice or make suggestions they never lecture or try to make me feel like a “failure” at dental care. I now look forward to my dental cleanings and go 3 times a year!

Dr. Jess Santucci and his team have been providing dental care for me and my family since we moved to the East Bay. His "chair-side manner" is wonderful - reassuring and competent. His work and that of his team is great. They strive for a pleasant experience which isn't always easier in dentisty.
