I am so glad you're here : I am a natural light photographer in Bend, Oregon with a passion for photographing families and newborn babies. I was born in Switzerland, where I spent almost 10 years before moving to Spain to sail the Mediterranean Sea on a 42 ft. I am a wife to an incredibly amazing and supportive husband and mama to {three} crazy fun boys.
In my spare time (ahem, what.?.) you can find me reading a good book (currently obsessed with the Outlander series- if you haven't read it yet, RUN to the bookstore. I'm serious, it's so good!, spending time with my family, running and spending my time outdoors. I have always been fascinated by photography and its ability to tell a story with no words.

Services
The best time to schedule your pregnancy session is around 28-34 weeks, when the tummy is nice and round and you are still comfortable. Spouses and children are welcomed and encouraged to attend. Sessions are in your home or outdoors in beautiful Central Oregon. Outdoor sessions begin approximately one hour before sunset.
As a photographer, it is such an honor and privilege to be invited into your home to document the intimate newness and tenderness of your family. When I arrive I will ask you to show me around your home. This is when I will be taking a look to see where the light is falling and which areas have the best natural light.
I love photographing family connections and emotions. It is my hope that together we will create not only beautiful photos, but also awesome memories. Capturing families playing, snuggling, being goofy, and just loving on each other is my favorite!
I will always do my best to get that one desired shot of everyone looking and smiling at me, but will for the most part, be giving piggyback rides to your kids, encouraging dads to show off their kid-flipping skills, having little ones give moms their BEST hugs EVER, and fun stuff like that.All sessions are shot in the evening (1 -2 hours before sunset) for optimal lighting - the time frame of this will depend upon the season and the sun.

Having me there will take the pressure off your laboring partner. They will not have to capture the first moments, they don't have to worry about messing with a camera during this special time, they can actually be present in the moment with you. This day will be a day that you will look back on for years to come, like a wedding, and I assure you that having me there will be something you'll treasure forever.

Yvette was a dream! She helped calm my nerves and was so amazing with my two crazy kiddos. It was super smokey from the fires that day so I was so worried but the photos we received were absolutely STUNNING! I can’t wait to take photos again next year with Yvette!

Yvette is the best! We did maternity and newborn pictures with her and both sets of photos turned out absolutely amazing. She perfectly captured these special moments in our lives to look back on forever. She’s very kind and we felt at ease having our pictures taken which is normally slightly awkward for us. She’s quick to respond and professional at doing so. The quality of her work is so great for the value. I will be using her for all future photo sessions I need. I highly recommend her!

Yvette has photographed my three boys over the last couple years. Some individuals and some group shots. She is magically able to get them all together and smiling! :) We've enjoyed meeting at different parks and capturing the boys in a more natural way. I love that she makes me jump in for a few shots too since I'm usually the one taking all the candid shots! Absolute joy working with Yvette!!
