Services
When a member of your family is under the weather, you want to get them back to health as soon as possible. It's just as true for your furry and feathered friends as it is for the human members of your family. We agree that every pet is deserving of the highest level of animal health care possible and it's why we strive to offer caring and compassionate service.
Keep track of your pets, no matter how far they may roam. While no pet owner wants to go through the heartache of losing their beloved fluffy family member, mistakes happen. Whether there's a hole in your fence or your pet has the tendency to dash out of the front door, you always want to ensure they can easily be returned to their loving home.
When we are hurt or sick we tell a doctor, but unfortunately our furry little friends don't have the same luxury. They rely on us to notice when something isn't right and to get the care that they need. If you have noticed that something isn't quite right with how your pet is behaving, or if you simply have a feeling something isn't right, bring them to our clinic for an examination.
Do you have unseen invaders in your home? Your pet could be shuttling in hundreds of blood sucking parasites right underneath your nose. Not only are these menaces a danger to your pet, they are also a danger to your entire family via the spread of infectious diseases such as Lyme disease, Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, and Bartonella.

This veterinary hospital would not see my cat because they said she was to aggressive!! UM HELLO you are an animal HOSPITAL and you can't give the cat a shot of a sedative to calm her down where the hell did you get your degree. I am almost POSITIVE that this animal HOSPITAL sees their shre of aggressive animals. Instead they send me home with the sedative (Gabapentin) which is not really a good sedative. I bought her back in which they probably spent about 10 minutes with her and gave me an antibiotic which did not work and I paid over $300 for a ten minute visit 10 days in the antibiotic and

This was the worst vet experience I had in my 35 years on this earth.
First time we went there when I had my appointment on Saturday, and mentioned my 5 month old kitten might have a UTI. I mentioned that she is a high stressed animal so it could just be a behavior thing. But we wanted to rule out being sick. They told me they couldn't run that test. As they were short staffed. Annoying but hey I get it. So we rescheduled for frist thing Monday.
Now for the nightmare that was the Monday appointment. Well we were scheduled for a 7am appointment. Specifically told the earlier the better.

Highland Animal Hospital has provided top notch care for our puppy! The staff is responsive, caring and Dr. Trombley is so sweet and caring with our Marvel. She's dedicated her life/career to helping animals and it shows, I hope she never retires! Marvel loves all of the staff especially Cala and she's so knowledgeable and helpful. Who knew going to the vet would be such a pleasant experience.

We have been long time clients at Highland Animal Hospital with both of our dogs (10yr old mix & 4yr old Bernese Mountain Dog), but I can say that I will never return to this clinic and I am very upset with the care we received at our last visit. While our older dog was in the care of the clinic he was put in a cage to wait for his appointment. Very routine and fine by us. After several hours they called to let us know that he got so anxious he chewed on the cage which resulted in a bloody mouth and loss of his bottom canine tooth! I understand that dogs can get anxious in these instances, but

Unprepared with medical needs and wanted to reschedule on me and my cat the day of. (while my cat was in the clinic awaiting service) we waited a full month to get help.
Terrible at communicating and the doctors are not taking responsibility for their incompetence and laziness, just got passed back and forth on the phone after several calls trying to get to the bottom of it.
This clinic supports animal neglect. Leaving my cat waiting over 3 hours with food, water and potty, fully know he has a heart issue!!!!
Untrustworthy team of doctors and contractors like Dr. Olson the cardiologist.

Highland Animal Hospital has taken care of my first fur baby for 12 years- from kitten hood until he recently passed. They were very efficient, responsive, reassuring, and made me feel like my cat was getting the best healthcare possible. I look forward to continuing to use them as my new fur baby's veterinarian.

Highland Animal Hospital are truly life savers! They were able to accommodate us on very short notice, and help our cat get back to feeling better very quickly. They communicate well, and are very responsive. We have been going here for years, and they have always been excellent.
