Services
Eno Animal Hospital has proudly served Durham and surrounding communities for more than 30 years. We're here to provide the best care and compassion, personalized for both pets and their people. To make sure your pet lives the best life. To create happy visits! Our fearless leader is Dr. Sabrina Grinstead, who took over as owner in 2011 and is committed to continuing the exceptional care and family feel Eno was built on.
Eno Animal Hospital is a full-service animal hospital for dogs and cats: wellness care to dentistry, surgery to senior care, lab work to laser therapy, baths to boarding and beyond. Put your pet in good hands at Eno! Scroll down to explore what we do. Wellness visits keep us informed of your unique pet's "normal" health and help us catch any issues early.
Dr. Sabrina Grinstead grew up on a farm-the youngest of six siblings-in the small town of Nazareth, Texas, with chickens, guinea hens, cattle, hunting dogs, and barn cats. Her first dog was a mutt named Special. Dr. Grinstead graduated from Texas A&M's College of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. She first applied her talents at a mixed animal practice that also handled emergencies.
We met Dr. Peace out and about several years ago in beautiful Bull City at a community holiday event for dogs, and we're so happy we did. In January, Dr. Peace celebrated three years on the Eno team! A fierce animal advocate committed to the very best medicine, Dr. Peace is a brilliant Associate Veterinarian.
We built our beautiful new hospital to help even more pets, and our dream is coming true. Dr. Robyn is an incredible veterinarian: best-in-class commitment to the best care and compassion, equal parts warmth and humor, and quickly beloved by both our Eno team and family for her energy, determination, and resolve.

I recently moved to Durham and needed to find a new dog groomer. I waited 6 weeks for an appointment for my dogs to get groomed. I received an email confirmation for these appointments. I confirmed the appointments over the phone with the receptionist and through the app Pet Desk. I sent over vaccine records via email as requested. When I arrived for my appointments, I was told my appointments were canceled almost a month ago and my dogs would not be seen today. I was also told I couldn't have my dogs groomed there unless the had a vet check as well which was not communicated in any way in the

0 stars. I can remember when I thought I had found the best vet ever. Now, I would not go to them if they paid me to. They have turned away two of my family's sick babies who are established patients there. During normal business hours as well. If you can't handle a sick dog than you should not have hospital attached to your name.

We want to thank the staff and doctors for their kindness during our dog Claire's euthanasia. It's a difficult time and they were so compassionate, recounting stories of Claire's 16 years coming to Eno Animal Hospital. I'm sure their excellent care over the years contributed to her longevity.

Dr. Peace was amazing and made my newly adopted boy Max feel comfortable during his exam. Max has been through a lot of changes lately, from being on the street with his litter, to two different foster homes, then settling with us in his forever home. Dr. Peace and the staff at Eno Animal Hospital went out of their way to make our first visit a welcome change in Max’s life!

It was very satisfying. Dr. Peace was wonderful with my two pets. He was very friendly and direct, met their needs and made me feel quite confident and comfortable about their future needs and treatments. I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing great personal care for their fur babies health.

This is a respond to Fariha N.'s original post. I am her spouse and want to point out something here. Under her original post, Eno hospital posted that our puppy was treated at a different facility.. I want to mention that our puppy is under my phone number and name and under her name(and phn) it only shows the emergency case with grapes. So for eno to say that our pet was treated at different place is just disappointing. We took our puppy to your hospital from the beginning. We are not even talking about what happened in the emergency but that she didn't get treated correctly. Last time

So I don't think I've ever given a vet a bad review before but was not impressed with my experience here. I'm a newer patient and had my second appointment yesterday after the first which was uneventful.

This is quite possibly the best vet in NC! I took both of my dogs here and I absolutely loved it!!! One of my dogs is more anxious and reserved but Dr. Peace did amazing with her. He got down on her level and made her feel safe and comfortable. Everyone here was so polite and seemed to want to meet us and to get to know our animals on a friendly/person level, which other vets have not. Dr. Peace took his time and didn't rush my dogs and he seemed so open and caring. I would recommend this to anyone in search of a good quality vet!

I've been taking my cats to EAH since I moved to North Durham 3 years ago. From the beginning they've been great communicating with me and answering all my questions. You can tell they love animals and love what they do. Everyone there have been very friendly, helpful and nice. Both Dr. Grinstead and Dr. Peace have helped me with issues I've had with my cats and their guidance and suggestions were invaluable. They've always been mindful of my budget and have been very up front with what costs can be expected. If there was an error, we were able to figure it out quickly. So far

I will not take my yorkie to eno animal hospital again ever. 524.00 for a teeth cleaning. I should have followed my gut instincts and go to carver animal hospital as I normally do for teeth cleaning because they give a price before the procedure of 360 . I feel ripped off at eno animal hospital. Eno gave me a price range between 250 to 800 dollars. And told me its 524 because of 4 extractions. I requested to speak to the vet but she never came out . She leaves the staff to deal with all the dirty work while she hides some where to not address a unhappy customer.. I don't even know if 4 tooth

Unfortunately this review is about everything besides the vet I met, she was nice and genuinely seemed to care about my dog. I took my dog for her 2nd appointment for a bunch of shots and other stuff, it was around $230. The lady told me about their "insurance" plan which I passed on and told her I would just be paying each time I came. She also came back with the cost of that day's service to compare the two and I still passed on their "insurance" plan. The dog got her shots and I paid the bill in full. A couple months later I started getting letters saying that she

I will never take my fur baby anywhere else! I have been a few times and referred my mother to the Eno Animal Hospital as well but my first grooming experience had me in tears. It had been while since I was able to take my westie to be groomed so he needed a lot of work. They did such a great job that I didn't even think it was him when they finished. I even asked if it was my dog. That's how great he looked. My words on this review cannot express who thankful I am to Eno Animal hospital. The groomers work miracles and I highly recommend this business!
