I took my dog in for an exam that was supposed to be 55.00 , every time the assistant came out she kept coming up with more and more they wanted to do. Just an exam, a shot and a ear cleaning ended up costing me $180.00 dollars. Then they gave me an estimate of 1,500 to 1,600 for a cyst to be removed, and telling me my dog might not even survive the surgery. They are not very concerned about the pet or the customers financial situation. It all about the money for them.

I have been going to Rincon Vista for the past 13 years. They are very caring and thorough with all my animal's needs. I have never been forced to do any service that I feel uncomfortable with, and they are upfront about their costs. Everyone is friendly and communicate well. As long as I have pets, this is my veterinarian of choice.

My brother took our dog to be seen on Tuesday. My brother has called Wednesday and Thursday being told the tests have come back. Has the vet called back no, are they open Friday no. So our dog just continues to have the same medical problems. Now granted the vet did squeeze her in, but at this point what is wrong what medication does she need to get better. Instead at this point she is only getting worse. Would not recommend this vet. Sure miss Dr. Bird

My Cats Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Sammy Davis Jr. Have been seen at Rincon valley for most of there lives. We loved and miss Dr. Bird and the staff that has taken over has done a good job filling in some big shoes. Mindy has always been great at answering all our questions and concerns. My Sammy is still going strong @17 years old thanks to Rincon Vista.

Amazing experience! They were able to get me in a couple hours after I called to make an appointment. Then once I was there, they got me in quickly, did a through exam on dog, and explained the reason behind each treatment suggestion. They were very kind and genuine. Definitely plan on keeping them as our regular vet.

Compassionate, and kind.. office was clean. Prices way too high. I was the only person in the office at 4:00 p.m., but still suffered a 20 minute wait in the exam room. Dr.Heist did not get down to the purpose of the visit, but rather tried to discuss other issues, and recommend other services (echo-cardiogram etc.). I geared her back to the ear… trouble, and she said " I will write up an estimate, and send it in with one of the staff". I questioned this and was informed that the Doctor did not like to be present when money was discussed. After 10 more minutes alone in exam room, I left

My doberman, Tony, has gone to Rincon Vista since he was a pup and Dr. Byrd was there. He was a wonderful man/vet. Now we have Dr. Heist and love her too. She is so great with Tony and makes me feel reassured every time we're in there. Highly recommend them. Great location, wonderful techs, and the price is really reasonable. Convenient east side location is a HUGE PLUS!!!
