Dr. Josh Branco and Dr. Ah Young Kim are both highly educated and trained in their field. Dr. Josh Branco grew up in Carson City and graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with a degree in biochemistry. Dr. Branco then went on to obtain his dental degree from Boston University followed by a post-doctoral General Practice Residency at UNR School of Medicine. Dr. Branco has extensive training in oral surgery, IV sedation, and the placement and restoration of dental implants.
Dr. Ah Young "Annie" Kim grew up in Toronto, Canada. There she graduated with honors from the prestigious University of Toronto. Dr. Kim went on to pursue her passion for dentistry at Boston University followed by a post-doctoral residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at UNC Chapel Hill.

I've never in my life felt compelled to write a review of a dentist. Most are fine. They get the job done, they're vaguely pleasant, whatever. Not this one. This team stands apart. I really like Dr. Branco. But heather is something else. I call ahead that I was going to be 7 minutes late and she said that doctor couldn't see my son anymore. Most of Dental offices have a 15 minute late policy. Now I need to change my Favorite Dentist just because someone is having a bad day. If I decided to changed is because this is not the first time Mrs. heather gives me attitude. I'm paying for a service I'm not getting anything free.

I saw this dentist a couple months back as I have a wisdom tooth coming in and it got infected. At that time they took X-rays and took a quick look to verify that I did indeed have an infection. I haven't been able to see the oral surgeon yet due to other medical bills ( I do not have dental insurance) and feel the same thing I did when I first saw them. All I need is a script for penicillin but they won't do it. Have to come in again and have X-rays again before they will prescribe. Knowing I do not have insurance I guess all they see are $$$. Is another X-ray really necessary?!?!?!

Excellent service from the front desk to the hygienist to the doctor.
Went in for an initial exam and X-rays. The hygienist was really friendly and kind. The dentist was thorough and professional. The two dentists are a couple who take turns being at the office in the north valley and the one on Longley. The north valley office is fairly small but nicely decorated, very cleanness, and easy to get to.
Will update review again once I go in for a cleaning.

I have been going to Sage for about 2-3 years now! My favorite part is that I barely have time to sit down before I’m called back for my appointment! Due to Covid they are about a month out for appointments, but that is not their fault. I recently had to have a new filling and OH MY GOD. I cannot rave enough about how amazing this filling was. Dr. Branco did my filling in less than an hour. I have NEVER gotten a filling done without needing at least a week or 2 for my teeth to adjust it down so it’s not hitting anything. Dr. Branco did such a good job that I couldn’t even tell I got a filling

I'll just say that I have never had such a thorough cleaning and professional, educated hygienist. I am so pleased with Sage dental, they are exactly what I needed. they had modern equipment, very clean, very organized and were communicable. Hopefully my PAR request will get approved for further dental work with them! Fingers crossed!

Dr. Kim recommended I get my two remaining wisdom teeth pulled and up until the moment they were pulled, I was incredibly nervous. The last time I had wisdom teeth pulled was about 20 years ago and I'm beginning to think that I must have had a terrible experience or a terrible dentist. With Dr. Kim I had two pulled in 20 minutes and a pain free experience. I don't believe it could have gone more smoothly. Thank you Dr. Kim

I haven't been to a dentist for 7 years and went here because of the good reviews and I am really glad I did. Dr. Kim was great, the other staff were nice/kind and created a good environment. I got my teeth cleaned by Hilda and she was AMAZING. My teeth feel so good and she didn't hurt my gums at all. A++ recommended them to my entire family and friends.

Sage is offering the best dental care I've had in years. Dr. Kim explains everything and makes me feel so comfortable. The office staff and hygienists are efficient and friendly; they treat you like a real person, not just the next patient to dispatch. Seriously, in the history of my life, i've apparently only had sub-par dentists, since i've been going to Sage Dental Care, I understand now that they are the best there can be, the oddest thing is they actually seem to care about me and my teeth, and I mean really care.
I have had nothing but wonderful experiences, to the point that I no longer hate going to the dentist.

Definitely very professional and comforting staff. I went in and had to deal with multiple dental issues, which was a very stressful situation and everyone from Heather at the front desk to all the assistants, Hilda the hygienist and Dr. Kim have treated me with respect and explained everything to me thoroughly. They also have a nice, clean and comfortable office. I had an appointment today for cleaning and even with my brief time of being a customer here, I feel very welcome with all the staff remembering my name and acknowledging me as they walk by. I highly recommend Dr. Kim and all her staff

Went in for my 6 month cleaning and check up. Heather was sweet and it's always a good thing to see her welcoming smile. Hilda did a wonderful job as usual cleaning my teeth and helped me find a mouthwash that doesn't make me gag! Well let's try this again. Seems my last review was removed since I included my significant others experience. This will be based on MY experience! I am a medical professional, new to town, made an appointment based on good yelp reviews, big mistake! This dentist has the worst bedside manner I have ever encountered. If you want to deal with someone who seemingly doesn't care about his patients at all, go see Dr. Branco. Also, check out his health grades! Sure wish I would have!!!

I feel so weird yelping about my dentist but really, I had a mouthful of dental work to be done and I will never go to another dentist as long as I am living here. Dr. Branco is the best dentist I've ever gone to. My son is 12 and autistic and he has always been very patient and gentle with him. I am halfway through my dental work and do not have any anxiety about going back and getting it finished. The staff is amazing. Heather, the receptionist is awesome. Every dental assistant we have had is professional and competent.

My dental hygienist is awesome. She tells me everything about my teeth. I like how if I have any questions about anything she will answer them. Dr. Kim genuinely cares about your teeth, the well being of your health. She asks if I have any questions and if she's doing something and I'm not familiar with it she will explain with no problem.
I love that they see kids also so it's so convenient that I can bring my kids here. It's a very professional looking facility, so you wouldn't know if they see children. I am still hoping that maybe they will bring some kind of kids
